Comfort Zone CZHV4S Quiet Dual-Powered 4-inch High-Velocity Portable Fan with Adjustable Tilt, assorted color

I bought this fan because my laptop (HP tx1000) has a bad GPU and the temperature consistently gets into the 90's (celcius), and so whenever I played Youtube videos or had lots of windows open, it would get too hot and the laptop would shut off. I had another small fan, from the Sharper Image, but eventually the switch went out, the blades quit working and it got wobbly. So, I got this one because another reviewer said they used it to cool their laptop as well.It is a liile small, but it has a cage around it, so I lay it face down directly over the GPU on my upside down laptop. It keeps it much cooler than the old on ever did. I can even watch Youtube videos fullscreen.I don't know how well it would work as a regular desk fan to keep yourself cool, but as a laptop cooler for a very specific problem (where you know where to direct the airflow), it works great.

I bought this fan to plug into computer at work for hot flashes in November 2019. I used about an hour per day on and off. It stopped working in less than three months. I contacted the seller and was sent a replacement. It is now August and this one lasted six months. They just stop working. Since I only paid $12.50 for it and it lasted a total of 9 months for both fans, so less than $1.50 per month of use, so I guess I got my moneys worth and while it worked it was great.

It is a great fan for myself when needed, but I use it to cool down my PC... of which I've paid to replace the fan. Great cost for the fan compared to the cost of the computer fan and the Labor to put it in for me.

These fans don't push a hurricane level of air, but are great for their size. Very little motor or mechanical noise, and airflow is sufficient for my needs. I put a couple of these inside one of my low-temperature kilns (about 85 degrees) to circulate air to make my roughed out wooden bowls dry faster. Their small size makes it easier to position them to get the best effect, compared to a larger fan that would get in the way.

I absolutely love this product. I am a nurse in a long term care facility and I pass quite a bit of medication. This fan discreetly sits on my med cart and conveniently plugs into my computer. Keeps me cooled down throughout my med pass and is very quiet. Another nurse actually bought one for herself after she saw mine! Thank u Amazon!

Nice cut fan which blows a good amount of air but the fan is a little noisy to me but worth the price. Nice for a desk or the night stand for this hot flashes :)

Highly disappointed in this product

I used this to replace a broken (even smaller) fan I was using to keep some air circulating around a small animal (rat) cage. Seems to be built very well..pretty much all metal (they sent me the silver color). I didn't even realize when I ordered that this was USB powered as well (the 'power cord' that is attached to the fan is simply a USB cable that plugs into a cell phone-style AC adapter), so that is a nice bonus. Since it is pretty much a USB device, it only uses about 5 watts of energy too which is good.Edit: After under a year with light use, the fan began making lots of noise no matter the position and the like..maybe worn internal bearings or something, but I would probably try out another brand.
