Plant Therapy Rosemary Essential Oil for Hair Growth, 10 mL (1/3 oz)

I ordered this to make an oil for my hair as well as mix into my cleansing conditioner. I've struggled with my hair breaking and thinning since I've had my last baby as well as was under stress for a while. My poor hair took a hit. I forgot that rosemary helps with that but when I remembered I ordered some. This has been a really good clean oil for me and my hair has begun to grow in more and recover from the breakage and thinning. Also, I haven't noticed near the hair loss I was having before. Obviously if you're having hair loss or breakage it could be other things (for example I'll be checking hormones, vitamins, and thyroid levels too) but this adds a healthy external treatment that can be beneficial for your hair and scalp either way. For the first month I made a mix of jojoba, castor, and the rosemary oil and massaged my scalp with that once a week. I had been using shampoo and conditioner to cleanse it, but I don't like how shampoo dries my hair out and my hair gets oily within 2 days of using shampoo. So then I bought the "As I Am" cleansing conditioner and use about 4 Tbsp of that, with 3-4 Tbsp of the purest aloe I can find, and then I mix in several drops of my rosemary essential oil and massage that on my scalp and let it sit for 1-3 hours. With the cleansing conditioner it keeps my hair nice for at least a week so I only need do this once a week. So far it's been about two months since starting the rosemary and my hair is getting happier. ~ Stephanie

I love this brand essential oil! I use it for my lotion as well as my night regimen of oils on my face to help with blemishes and circulation. Specifically I use rosemary to prevent blemishes and it works quite well I have very few breakouts. When using for my lotion it has a long lasting scent everyone loves.

I like this product. I'm not sure if it is helping my hair grow back, but my wife puts it on my head every night, so I have extra cuddle time with her. For that reason, it gets 4 stars. If my hair comes back, then maybe I'll give it an extra star.

This is my favorite essential oil to diffuse. It uplifts my mood. I especially love to blend it with Plant Therapy Peppermint Essential Oil. That is a real mood lifter. I also love to blend this rosemary oil with jojoba oil and add drops of it to my hair to promote hair growth. I've been using Plant Therapy oils for nearly a decade. Love the quality of their oils.

Though I'm not a huge fan of the scent, other people I've made products for are and it does blend well with mint/peppermint. I use Rosemary mainly in my hair for its thickening properties as I have very thin, baby fine hair. I add it to commercial shampoo, and have made my own natural shampoo with it. I also massage some neat into my scalp 10-15 minutes before my morning shower, let it "do its thing", and then wash my hair. The smell goes away, but I can tell it is helping give some life and body to my hair. I've also added it to some other oils and a carrier to treat cellulite. I'm told it can also help clear your sinuses, which I'm sure I'll be testing out in a few months as it gets colder. Plant Therapy has quickly become my favorite essential oil company, and I've tried them all. The quality of oils you get for the price is amazing. They rival, and sometimes surpass, the multi-level marketing companies that claim to be the best on the market. Whenever I talk about the benefits of essential oils with people and how much they have helped my family, I always stress that PT is our go-to brand.
