10A smart plug with Energy monitoring- Suitable for small appliances like TVs, Electric Kettle, Mobile and Laptop Chargers (Works with Alexa and Google Assistant)

. Product may stop after 2-3 weeks. I have ordered this for my ev charger energy monitoring. I have similar unit which is working fine for aquarium timer. May be issue with load etc.

A very good product one can rely upon. Excellent response on Alexa voice command. It's just about less than a month that it was purchased. Durability to be assessed only after certain period on usage. One can go for it without a second thought. Am using for my Aqua guard water unit as plugin where you can fix the On/Off Schedule and link with Alexa Voice command. Initial setting may take some time till you complete the process. Follow instruction manual provided with product. I rate it as 5 star.

Using it for a week now. It is a good product. I am using it for my workstation and can create routine so as to save electricity when not in use. And can be controlled with alexa or google home. Only gripe I have is it connects to 2.4 ghz WiFi only and the app also needs your mobile to be connected to 2.4 ghz WiFi. Rest no issues till now.

The 10A socket is universal and accepts plugs of different types. As suggested by another user I used the Smart life app and the plug works really seamlessly with the app. Two features that I was looking for is available. 1. I wanted the socket to be off by default after a power outage - I can confirm that this is possible by setting the relay status to OFF in the smart life app. 2. I wanted the socket to auto OFF after a duration even if the WiFi goes off - I can confirm that this is also possible by using the Inching feature. So when the inching is set to 1 hour and I switch on the plug at 6am and the wifi goes off at 6:55 am, the plug will still switch off at 7am (exactly 1 hour after it was switched on). Please note that I didn't use the wipro app and all the functionalities I needed was available using the smart life app. There's one functionality missing though - When either power/wifi is down during the switch on time, the device doesn't automatically switch on post power/wifi is restored. This might just be an app limitation and the workaround is to schedule multiple fallback switch on events.

The plug automatically goes off,cut the power supply without any timer settings.

I purchased this smart plug on Jan 2024 from Amazon. It worked without any flaws for more than 2 years and 4 months until yesterday 21-May-2026. Yesterday night, it started turning itself off and on repeatedly without any load. I have tried many options including resetting the device, unlinking the device from WIPRO smart app with no use. I know the warranty is only for a year but from a company like WIPRO, I expect its products to be more reliable than this. Not sure if it is worth the money and time spent on buying this device.

I took the plunge and decided to buy 10 of these plugs. As an iOS user with some HomePods I was looking to enable a full HomeKit solution, but HomeKit plugs don't seem to be available in India. After a bit of research, using the open source HomeBridge system worked. But not without a few hoops to jump through on setup... HomeBridge requires either a Raspberry Pi or a computer that is always on (I have the latter), so installing HomeBridge was simple - follow the instructions and it's running. Adding that into HomeKit is also simple - scan the generated QR code. Adding the Wipro plugs - a little more difficult. These plugs are Wipro BRANDED only in name - you can actually add them using another app (which doesn't have the energy monitoring feature BTW, but I wasn't concerned with that) called Tuya Smart - add all of your plugs into that. This is because HomeBridge has a Tuya plugin which you install, but you need the device ID and its Key, which is a bit more painful to get - you have to sign up for a free developer account on the Tuya site, link your Tuya Smart app to the developer account which lists your devices, then running a command in Terminal, the registered device IDs and Keys are listed. There's step by step instructions online, so don't worry..! You add those into the HomeBridge Tuya plugin, reboot HomeBridge and BOOM! Works first time!! I now have all of the plugs working seamlessly in HomeKit, so much so I've ordered another 5 10a ones and 2 16a ones. I've not tested with Alexa or the WiPro app, nor have I tested the energy consumption features as my goal was to get this working with HomeKit so I could lazily ask Siri to turn lights on / off, set moods, turn on my other stuff etc. As my home has a lot of lamps, I'm primarily using these plugs with splitters to control multiple lights, air purifiers, TV (etc) that's not a large load. If you're not tech savvy, this method may not be for you - you should be able to get them working with Siri Shortcuts, but I've not tested it.
