This has became my daughter’s favorite seat which made her so much more comfortable using the potty. It’s sturdy on the potty. No issues with pinching since it has the rubber that wraps around the folds and it’s strong sturdy and doesn’t move either. Easy to clean and I appreciate the travel bag. The purpose of this purchase was for when we left home, but she quickly decided she didn’t care for her other potty because she wasn’t fully comfortable on it. Safe to say her fear wasn’t potty related, I just needed another potty that she felt comfortable on. I’m glad i purchased this and I will continue to recommend to friends and family.

If your kid is anything like mine and has a fear of falling into the toilet or in general hates public restrooms, this seat is for you and will prevent so many crisis. We never go anywhere without it and typically keep a small pack of disinfecting wipes in the storage bag that comes with this. It's so easy to use and It fits any toilet and the little foldable pegs help stabilize the seat while the silicone rings prevent legs from getting pinched. We keep the silicone rings on and just slide them down to cover the fold when in use. The one thing that could make this even better is if there was also a silicone ring to cover the back fold although we haven't had any issues with that ourselves.

Compact and easy to carry around for potty training! It fits on nearly all toilet seats but can take a second to really lock into place. Overall would use this again for my next baby!

I bought a different brand potty trainer seat and discovered it slipped around, so I decided to look for another brand and came across the Hippopotamus. I absolutely love it! The little rubber bands that fit around the sides help keep the seat from slipping (the other brand I bought was identical in that it had the little grips on the ears and bottom and had the little flaps that flip out to help keep it in place, but it didn't come with the rubber bands that fit around the middle section on both sides). My toddler loves it because of the cute animal shape and is more comfortable using it since it doesn't slide/slip around. This one is a keeper! We are preparing to potty train our almost 22 month old toddler, and we wanted a seat small enough to carry with me in my diaper bag or in the stroller to use when we are in public places. This seat also fits great on our portable collapsible camping toilet (also purchased on Amazon), making it very functional. It appears to be good quality and thickness, but only time will tell how it holds up.

This thing is wonderful. It's light-weight, folds up nicely, is cute and easy to wash. You could remove the rubber pieces each time and fold it down real small, but we keep em on and just fold it flat the once and it stores nicely in the back of our diaper bag. It's really made it easier for my little one to use public restrooms without the fear of falling in. It's fit on every potty it's ever been on with no issue. She likes being able to use "big pottys" like a big girl- I think it makes her feel a bit more independent even if I do still have to help her get up on it when she goes.

This is genius for public restrooms. My daughter refused to go in public because the seats were too big and she couldn’t sit comfortably. This seat is her own perfect size and she now will go in public restrooms! It’s a game changer for potty training. It’s annoying that it’s just another thing to have to carry around. But it’s worth it. I place a small pack of Clorox wipes in its bag so I can also wipe the seat off when she’s done for clean storing.

I use this for the first time on a recent trip for my daughter at the recommendation of a family member. I used it at the hotel and airport bathroom toilets, and it fit well in both. Depending on your child, if your child is capable of selecting their own design or character, that helps in the use of it and my daughter’s willingness to sit on it. She wants to bring it everywhere we go and wants to use it at home. it folds up to a very small seat which is great for the diaper bag. Very important detail here and that you use the rubber straps around the hinges to avoid the pinching just as advertised. Extremely important piece there to not throw them away and put them on correctly. The rubber bands around the hinges do not infringe on folding up the item which I would estimate at 6 x 8”. The rubber bands stay in place when you open it up for use or when you close it for storage. I highly recommend this product.

I like how small it is to just fit on the side pocket of diaper bag. I put it in the zip loc with the alcohol wipes. So we can clean it after use before we store it back to reduce the germs. My daughter likes it since she used it for the first time. She said it comfy and didn’t hurt her legs. She is just 2 years old so it has been difficult for me and my back holding her in toilet seat in public. I recommend this product!

It’s great for potty training. Specially when you’re outside, it has small bag which I carry everywhere. I lost it one time and purchased it again.
