This is the PERFECT tool to travel. Not heavy, stores well, fast and efficient cooking.

Dual voltage for international travel
I used it during our Europe trip, the only defect is too small for two people, other than that l am happy to have it.

Fire hazard
It was emitting smoke like plastic was burning from inside. Thought it was just an initial burn from first use but it kept smoking even after 3minutes. Had to turn it off so my fire alarm wouldn’t go off.

The price is quite good expensive.

Works well
Didn't experience any problems with the stove. Using the right voltage setting, it heats up quickly. I use it to make soup and heat up food. Very convenient. The size is compact but it is a bit heavy.

Product say import Japan but made in China

it’s a Japan import but made in China
so they found another means to skirt around identifying products made in China. I try my best to avoid Made in China products for several reasons i.e. poor quality, rampant proprietary thievery, etc. I initially planned to purchased more for my college-bound nieces but not anymore.

Quality of material
This product is a spin off from the original Sanyo Travel Cooker which was Made in Japan decades ago. Production materials used at that time were far more refine both in visual and touch sense.

Very useful when traveling abroad. It takes a bit of time to boil water, but it works fine. Is very compact.

Disappointed order
Very disappointed! Received the package labeled as used resale. The user manual Japanese only, needs to translate to English. After plug in, not working! Returned right away to Canada Post! Lucky, the return process is easy.

ヨーロッパに2ヶ月行くタイミングで購入！ コンパクトながら、加熱が早くてお湯を沸かしたり、カレーを作ったりしました！ パワーも強いのでお肉を焼いたりも出来ましたよ！ヨーロッパは物価が高いので少し自炊したい時などに活躍してくれました。 使ってるうちに鍋のコーティングが剥がれてきてしまい、鍋の寿命はそこまで長くなさそうかも(―''"―;)

使い方間違えてないのにすぐ壊れした
インドで220Vで使用しましたが3回で電源がはいらなくなりました。ランプもつかないので間違いなく壊れてます。 まだ1ヶ月以上出張残ってて食料もたくさん持ってきたのに最悪です。 インドから返品もできないので諦めます
