My wife and I are addicted to Scrabble, and we love this travel Scrabble board! It's compact and perfect for on-the-go gaming, whether we're heading to a weekend getaway or just playing at home. The magnetic tiles ensure the letters stay in place, even when you're on a bumpy ride or a crowded table. The sturdy design makes it feel just like the classic version, and the folding board is a great space-saver. The quality of the pieces is excellent, and the portable case makes it easy to pack up. We’ve played countless games already, and it’s been a fantastic addition to our collection!

I would dispute another review that says it's not luxury, because it's a beautifully made product. There were two small imperfections: a tiny bit of glue which I picked out with a pair of tweezers and a tiny bit of missing wood stain which I covered with an alcohol marker. Otherwise it's really lovely, my mother in law gave out a little squee when she saw the beautiful wooden tiles. One piece of feedback to the manufacturer: the plastic bag the tiles come bundled in (and the velvet bag, actually) make it pretty challenging to get the bag inside, the unit needs just a few more mm of height, or you need a differently designed tile bag, perhaps longer. It was a 20th anniversary present to my in laws who travel a lot, and they seemed genuinely delighted. Happy customer here. The other travel scrabble sets I've seen are totally rubbish and barely useable. Neither of us had problems picking up or reading the tiles, but I suppose if you have massive fingers it might be a bit challenging, but they are quite raised once on the board, so you'd need to be pretty ham fisted for it to be a problem.

The item is excellent with one slight hitch. The rack for the seven tiles is a very tight fit and being a travel version of the game the tiles can very easily fall off sideways. The rack would be better with ends as in the older versions of Travel Scrabble.

Received this today, flawless there are no issues with the finish as I have seen some reviews pointing out minor flaws. Incredible quality, great size I am glad I chose the travel version as it's not tiny as some of the other versions. I really cannot recommend it enough. It was a bit pricey for me but I think it's worth every penny.

This has clearly travelled from the USA (having been manufactured in China), so it's well travelled. In view of this it has been well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The overall feel and look is good quality. I'm in the UK so one of the first things I did was to check all the letters for UK use were there, which is the case. Size wise it is almost identical to an old set I picked up years ago in a charity shop and the board and letters on that were fine to handle and use over the years (until we lost an 'U' in the sand). We play with Travel Scrabble on the sandy beach we go to; if there are any issues with its use I shall update. It looks highly promising.

The quality of this item is amazing, if you want a pretty travel version of scrabble, look no further!

I wanted to get my boyfriend a scrabble board that was sturdily built and was made of quality wood! Most boards that were wood and seemed nice were way out of my price range so this was a great alternative for the quality but smaller size! The board is so pretty and its smaller size has lent it self to use as we now carry it to our coffee shop or park to play outside. The board is quite small but neither of us really mind. Since it’s a travel board there are indents to keep the tiles in places which has been so hopeful since I’m known to accidentally mess the whole board! Highly recommend!!

Great version of scrabble that stops pieces moving around. Was a little smaller than expected but is perfect for travel (as expected)- good value!
