Oak Veneer High Capacity Wall Rack (CDV-1000 Series) Oak

I bought one and loved the quality so well, I bought two more. I use it not only for media DVD, CD, VHS, but I use it for books too. The adjustable shelves are wide enough to support small to medium size books. I am 62 yrs old 5 ft. I put all these together myself with just basic screwdrivers. The box it came in was extremely heavy and I had to have help to get it into the house. It was double boxed with plastic protectors on the corners. All was in good order and no damage. I ordered 1 oak color and 2 cherry. Both very rich looking. Great for downsizing and consolidating my collection of things and still have room for knick knacks. The best part is it is only 5 ft tall with a wide bottom base. 2 inch lip on the side so you can not put them next to each other if you have more than one. The shelving looks like is real wood and is thick so it does not bow under the weight of objects. So real, hard to tell if shelf is real wood or not. . The backing was a little tricky and the middle shelving is stationary for support. Very sturdy. well worth the money spent and will have for years to come.

I looked around for about a week before buying this. Most of the shelves I saw with this much capacity were also quite a bit more expensive. This one was new and didn't have any reviews yet, but I decided to take a chance. We've had this for about a month now and we really like it. It was easy to put together (I was able to do it by myself), although you need a fair amount of open floor space to do it. Nice ebony wood-grain look. It fits a ton of stuff: I have DVDs, BluRays, CDs, paperback books and a few pictures and knick-knacks on it. The base comes out farther that the shelf, so it's quite stable (someone with small kids might want to add some sort of wall attachment to be safe though.) The middle shelf is affixed but all others are adjustable, and I actually have some shelves left over that I didn't need. I had a slight problem with a damaged piece but the company responded very quickly, and I got a replacement in less than a week. Good purchase.
