I was honestly a little nervous before ordering, but everything arrived and I’m very happy with my purchase. I bought a lunch box, a bag, a plate set, and a pack of forks, and all the items were better than I expected. The quality is really good, everything looks nice, and they feel durable. The lunch box is practical, the bag is very useful, and the plates and forks are perfect. I’m a regular customer, not someone they know, just sharing my honest experience. I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend others to buy from them.

First, the bullet points for you master speedy shoppers (I will go in to detail later for those of you who need it 🙋🏻‍♀️): What I LOVE: 1. Truly leak-proof! Yes! The yogurt did not spill over. The seals are great. 2. Super easy to clean! I hand wash only, although the inner tray is top rack machine washable. 3. My kids & I love the little compartments! These help me get creative with lunch & also helps me provide a visually appealing meal. My sons have FUN eating lunch from the different compartments. 4. This encourages my kids to try different foods. Because some of the compartments are smaller, I can include a food they may not normally try but he did this week! (Ex. Sliced mushrooms) 5. Good for portion control. My children are actually small for their age so I tend to want to overcompensate with larger portions. Large portions of foods can be off-putting to children, so these compartments are great as they are the PERFECT size. 6. Keeps everything in one place, in order, & my son doesn’t have to waste any time opening or closing different containers. My son may be the world’s slowest eater as he really like to indulge & enjoy his food. 20 minute lunches have been challenging now that he’s at school, but the ease of use of this has been helpful. 7. And maybe this would be first for my kids, but they are obsessed with the cute sharks design. Here are some details: First off, I consider myself a master of snack/meal prep for my children. Secondly, I’m a pediatric dietitian, so yeah...this is kind of my thing! I just got TWO of these amazing Bentgo boxes for my 4 & 2 year old sons & they are PHENOMENAL! I love them so much that my husband & I discussed getting the adult size ones (Bentgo Fresh) for us. This is our first week with a full-time preschooler, so we needed something he could carry, open, handle, etc & this was amazing all week. I grabbed a second one an hour later bc I figured if I was packing one lunch, I should pack a second one for my son who goes on daily adventures with me. My TWO year old can unsnap the case & open the lid independently so it’s been exciting & a total confidence builder for him :). This has made life so much easier. I’ve been questioning all week why I had not looked into a product like this before. I did a search online to see which Bento box product was best & this Bentgo Kids kept coming up number one on various lists so I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. It is totally worth the investment! Lastly, the leak-proof compartments are the best. My kids don’t like when certain foods mix & this works wonderfully. I wish this company made water bottles. Lol. Cute design and works really well for school lunches. This is probably our 5th one. We get a new one each year to stop mold growth in the cracks (under the seals) but clearly we love them and keep buying more because they work. It helps me when packing (protein, fruit, veggie, bonus item). The tiny hole is pretty small and I use as a treat spot - adding a few pieces of chocolate or something sweet sometimes. Storage wise: the large part holds ½ a sandwich width wise and a whole sandwich stacked. The medium sized containers hold a clementine, carrot sticks (a large carrot cut up easily fits), or 3-4 sushi rolls. The smaller (not treat hole) is great for snacks like goldfish or cheese cubes or a hard boiled egg. The bentgo boxes will last through a kid using it daily for about a year. We generally hand wash the boxes and they’ve held up. They honestly last more than a year but it’s now our yearly tradition. Love the teal with sharks. As kids get to upper elementary school, depending on their appetite this can be outgrown. But we’ve stuck with them as now the kids can make their own lunches following the “protein, veggie, fruit, extra” method and then we add in a snack bag (chips, pretzels, or meat stick) on the side for extra food.

So I will start off by saying this product does have a weak spot. The ledge that the outer shell clips to has been the first thing to break on all the Bentgo Kids lunchboxes we've owned. That being said, we will continue buying these solely based on the stellar customer service. We purchased our first Bentgo Kids lunchbox from Groupon when our son was entering Kindergarten. About halfway through the year he dropped it and the ledge that the clips snap on to broke so we couldn't secure it shut anymore. I contacted customer service, not asking for a replacement but hoping I could re-purchase the outer shell only since the insert was fine. They sent me a replacement, even though mine had been purchased at a discount. Our son goes to day care all summer and brought this lunchbox every day. By the end of the summer, the same spot had broken on the new one. I really didn't think he'd been rough with it or dropped it, but I couldn't be sure, and because the last one had been replaced at no cost, we decided to pay full price for the shark box, and get a set of covers for the inserts we were apparently collecting. Now we had 3 inserts and 1 shell, so we could make 3 lunches ahead of time. We've had the shark box for 7 months and a week or so ago I noticed some hairline cracks on the ledge that keeps breaking and lo and behold, last Friday, said ledge was completely broken off AGAIN. I was frustrated, but at this point, we're in it for the long haul, and what was I going to do with all those inserts if I chose to switch to a new bento system? Once again, I fired off an email to customer support, just letting them know the product has a spot that's habitually the first to go, but that we still love it and will likely purchase another. I'm obsessively crafty, so I intended to finish out the school year with this lunchbox by putting a metal latch over the broken plastic one, or asking any of the dozen people we know with a 3D printer to help me create a replacement. None of this was necessary however, because 24 hrs after my email, I got a reply asking me to call, and when I did, I gave them my Amazon order number from the last time I purchased one, they looked it up, even saw our exchange from the Groupon box, and are shipping us a new Shark box! (This is important since the boxes with designs cost more, and they could have easily offered me a solid colored one) So, long story short, yes, the box may not survive use from the age group it's marketed for, but customer service is some of the best I've ever encountered, and more than makes up for it.
