We have all-electric storage heaters which are hideously expensive to run in a big house. Since buying this bit of kit we've been able to set these to a minimum and periodically boost the heat in the room we're using based on our needs at any time. Easy to use and a great money saver.

Delivery to me personally at my door by a very pleasant man. When l unpacked the gas burner l was pleased to note that gas connector was already fitted so it was simply a matter of installing the butane gas bottle. The burner is excellent with 3 different settings, it gives out plenty of heat and is easy on the eye. Recommended.

Love it. It's easy to move around. Starts easily with electric starter, safe to use - auto shut off if the oxygen levels in the room get too life. Warms the room very quickly even in the lowest setting.

As a heater it seems ok (although only 2 days since I got it), but flimsy materials used in construction. As they say, you get what you pay for, because it is cheaper than the alternatives. The product casing is made from pressed sheet steel, with self tapping screws to hold it all together, and caster wheels on the base. The sheet steel used is too thin to be useful for the self-tapping screws - especially for a retaining brace at the rear that will need to be removed every time the gas bottle is replaced. But also too thin to hold the weight of a 13kg (net) bottle of gas - the total weight of bottle+gas is 25kg. The wheels and the base simply buckle under the weight. Fortunately it has carry hand-holes on the sides, which are more useful. In the short term I have used small bolts (with washers and nuts) to attatch the rear brace, and will probably re-enforce the base in the near future. It's a pity, because the front panel and workings seem fine. Finally - one last gripe - soooo many loud ugly WARNING/STOP/HAZARD/ATTENTION stickers all over the device. But I guess this is the modern way in a world where common sense may not be so common.

Great heater, ignites easily and heat output even on one bar is excellent. Highly recommended. Comes ready to use and just have to insert a battery for the ignition. Also impressed with delivery time frame, arrived in one day

What a great little fire. Ideal for our wooden gazebo. It let's out a lot of heat. Only ordered it yesterday and it arrived today in perfect condition. It is slightly flimsy but if you are gentle with it its fine. Would highly recommend. It is easy to turn off. You can reach the back easily. I had the province cast iron calor gas heater before cause I liked the look but this gives out more heat. Great price.

The biggest factor for me on buying this heater was the fact that the hose and regulator is ALREADY fitted to the heater, which meant i simply added the gas cylinder switched it on and instant heat. I already have one of these heaters from a different seller - over 12 years ago - and it is still working great. The difference between this one and the old one, is in the ignition. This new heater needs 1 x AA battery for the ignition to work, whereas, my old heater did not. However both the new and old heater work great. I am very pleased with this new heater it looks great, heats up living room and dining room very quickly, and it's brilliant to get some instant heat when required. I highly recommend this heater. I purposely paid for the gas to the house to be disconnected. I think it is outrageous how the energy companies (on the mains grid) behave towards their customers. They appear to think they are the gods of the energy world and no one can touch them! ie a monopoly/oligopoly. Well may i suggest get rid of them and their standing charges - let alone outrageous gas prices - and have more control of when you pay for heating.

The fire was connected everything as instructions. First off you can’t move the fire around as when you try to turn it the wheel lock catches on the framework and locks the wheels. It won’t move anywhere then ! This is dangerous because you can’t turn the fire off, because last burner is alight. until you’ve moved the fire forward to switch off at the gas bottle. The gas tap if half way into the fire frame and unreachable unless by sight. I used the contact seller. But this is not available ????? Mail comes back. Unanswered. I think this is a design fault. You cannot move the fire around because the wheel clip locks engage and are catching the fire frame, locking, the wheels. the fire can tip over if you pull it forward when locks are on with its weight. Potentially It could end up face down on the floor the middle low button is still alight.
