We have a Pekingese who loves to swim at the beach and roll in the sand so we are often traveling with a wet, sandy dog in our car. Also, even when not wet and fresh from a "sand bath," he sheds a lot so our car was very difficult to keep clean. This seat cover serves very nicely to keep the car seat and surrounding area clean. It is easy to remove and shake off the sand and hair, easy to put back on and keeps the seats dry below it. I hesitated at first to apply it hammock style because our dog wants to be able to see us in the front seat and thought that he would not be able to if this was also attached to the front seats. However, I discovered that the zipper that allows someone to sit in the rear seat is in exactly the right place to allow our dog to see the front seat when I unzip it partially. So we have the best of all possibilities - great protection for the car seats, a safety hammock so the dog can't accidentally tumble off the seat in an emergency and he can still see us in the front. Everyone is happy! I highly recommend this to others who have the same needs. The handy pockets are in just the right place for storing the leash when we remove it to attach the "doggie seat belt" that came with the seat cover. A great product all around.

I have two dogs that I take to the park often, so needless to say it gets pretty hairy in my car. This cover fits my CR-V seat perfectly and was easy to put in. I like that it goes up the backside of the front seats, not only because it eliminates fur from the floor, but also because if I make a stop before getting to the park, one dog inevitably ends up in the front seat when I return. Since one of my dogs has had back surgery twice, jumping to the front seat is not good and the other dog just sheds much more so there goes my clean passenger seat if she's the one that gets up there. So that's not a problem anymore with this seat cover blocking the way to the front. I also like that I can keep my bag or purchases on the floor and the seat cover keeps it out of view from the window. The seat cover itself seems very durable and it's a nice neutral color. There was a slight plastic-y odor when it first came out of the box, so I took one star away for that since it was a bit distracting in an enclosed car. Fortunately the odor cleared up after a week and it's all good now - I suggest the cover be aired out first, then put it in your car if you're sensitive to smells like I am. The seat belt is a bonus and I wish there was a way to get another one, but I'll just get a leash-coupler from the pet store and it should work fine for both of them. Also, when I have people passengers, the cover can be removed quickly and the fur comes off easily with a shake. The best part is that I don't need to vaccum the car as much and with damp fall weather coming, my seats will stay clean.

Arrived quickly and works well enough. I wish it covered my side cup holders so I didn't have to clean up his drool when he stands up back there. Also the zipper has already ripped slightly from the seam. It's not ruining how it works, but it was disappointing to see that after one use. It keeps the hair off of my seats and gives him a place to rest on our trips down to the shore, so that's good enough for me for right now.

I chose the Letzgo brand because it was reasonably priced. Should have know you get what you pay for. The straps that go around the headrests kept slipping as the dog (98 lbs.) sat on it, pulling it down from the back. It just doesn't stay in place.

This is my second purchase. I still have the first one I bought 3 years ago. This one is a gift for my friend and her husband's new SUV and truck. They have had trouble finding a seat cover big enough for their vehicles. It can be easily adjusted to fit cars and smaller SUVs if needed. It is durable, washable, doesn't slip on vinyl/leather seats and it is comfortable for my yellow Lab to stretch out on for long trips. The vinyl side keeps the seats dry and clean when it is sloppy outside. The sling design also helps protect her from sliding or falling off the seat during sudden emergency stops. It also prevents her from "riding" the console between the front seats--a dangerous placement for a dog if you stop suddenly.

I received my Dog Seat Cover a few weeks ago and use it on a regular basis. I have two dogs, a 50# lab mix and a 35# 8 month old puppy, and the cover works great for them. It stays in place and keeps the hair off of my seats, while keeping the dogs safely in the back. The puppy is still not thrilled about car rides so tends to drool a lot. The cover protects my seats from getting wet at all.I remove the cover when I have clients riding in my car, and it is easy to take the cover in and out of my car.
