Blueskin Tape
Price OK. Came promptly. Heavy box. A good product. I needed to renew a wood deck and used it to cover the stringers, the wood that the 2x6 deck boards are sitting one. The idea is to keep those "stringers" dry. The tape has good adhesion, and seems like a good way to keep the deck robust. This deck should last 30 years or more, and an actual report of the durability of this stuff might take that long too. There was some problem getting the tap unwound. In some places the adjacent layers were connected together, and that needed effort to get the tape to unroll. However, no big deal. With a little effort it unrolled just fine. If I do another deck, I would used more.

This sealing tape is great stuff and will stick to almost anything
This sealing tape is great stuff and will stick to almost anything. It also has a very low application temperature which makes it great for applying in cold weather. It also comes in a variety of widths and is great for flashing around windows and doors one side is bright blue plastic and the sticky side is black. This stuff really sticks to whatever you apply it to so make sure you got it where you want it....I personally draw guide lines with a level and a sharpy marker before I start applying the tape. The only draw back to using Blueskin WB is the ridiculous high shipping cost the current Amazon supplier is charging. The 4" x 50' roll used to be covered under Amazon Prime 2 day free shipping but that is no longer the case and the shipping costs are quite high. I personally have switched to a different product because the the shipping costs thing.

Waterproof barrier for basement framing
I finished my basement but was worried that when I went to Ramset the framing into the concrete that over time the wood would wick moisture out of the floor. Decided to apply this stuff to the bottom of it first so itโs in between the framing and the concrete. Works like a charm, and fits perfectly under a 2x4!

i love the product
i love the product, i am residing my house and i use this sealing my foam board insulation and for my windows. i was using weathermate tape but it just did not have the consistent sticking power that i need. i will provide one word of caution occasionally the backing would tear and i would fail to notice this, therefore tape would not adhere properly to my foam.

Run offs. Bad
Probably a bad run in manufacturing. Alot of wrinkles. No good for a quality product

Off Label Use - Cheap Dynamat Substitute
I bought this to line the doors and interior panels of my diesel truck for sound deadening. It does work well and has no noticeable odor after installation. The name brands talk about using a small piece per panel (probably because it's so expensive), but this stuff is so cheap that there's no reason not to stick it to everything. Applying a layer to both the door frame as well as the inside of the door skin drastically reduces the high-frequency noise transfer. I plan to coat the floor boards with this stuff to kill the clattery racket coming from the engine.

Blue skin is in!
I purchased this because the other weather barrier I got didnโt stick very well. This went on smooth and was so easy. Fit perfectly on a 4x6 beam. I do recommend not pushing wood across it as it does tear.

Bought for my roofing used for everything else
I found this to be an excellent purchase. I got it to seal the joints on the plywood on my new patio roof, but have also used it for emergency patch repairs on my leaking gutter (held off the rain until I could get up there and replace the section). I also used it to hold down the carpet from my garage step through the threshold into the laundry room. It is better than duct tape, but way more expensive than duct (duck) tape.
