I've been purchasing these for a while, and they are consistently tart and deliccious. They always taste and seem fresh and are good quality with no added sugar. I put them in baked goods like scones, eat them by themselves, and use them in my own "trail mix". Tart cherries have a number of health benefits as well - so that's a plus.

I ordered these along with a bag of the 365 Brand Organic Dried Bing Cheries, which I did a review on last week. These just arrived and, by comparison, are much more tart than the Bing cherries. They are also smaller in size. Another reviewer compared them to the size of raisins. I would say they are a little bit bigger than raisins, and there are some larger ones in there as well. Value wise, these are a better deal than the 365 Organic Dried Bing Cherries. The bag is twice the size (1 lbs. vs. 8 oz.), but it is not twice the price. After trying both brands, I will probably continue to order both, since they are different, and depending on my mood, decide which I want to eat that day. I bought these just to snack on by the handful. I am sure you could bake with these Tart Cherries as well if you wanted to add some to muffins or some type of bread, maybe substituting them for cranberries in a recipe, since both are tart and unsweetened and of a similar size.

These are delicious dried cherries, tart and unsweetened. Great for snacking and baking. Will buy again.

Now they are here on my desk for review. I just shook ten cherries on to a piece of paper. They are very small, the largest measuring a half inch in diameter. Under a bright light the color is dark red. But how do they taste? I am chewing on one now and it has a tart and slightly sweet cherry flavor. Now I have a half dozen that I am chewing and they are dry, tart , with just a hint of sweetness. Only one ingredient is listed on the package, which comes from Turkey: organic tart cherries. That’s it. On the bag we are given a caution: “May contain pits or shell fragments.” Readers who decide to buy these cherries should heed that warning. Several times I have chewed on a pit or fragment that could damage my teeth if my bite were too strong. Quality control needs improvement for these dried cherries. That said, I have ordered many different brands of dried tart cherries and finding pits or shells in the mix is not uncommon. It is uncommon to find organic dried tart cherries with no added sugar or other sweeteners like apple juice. Berrilys proves that sugar or other sweeteners are not needed. These tart cherries taste good just as they are. A serving of about 1.4 ounces of the cherries has 18 grams of natural fruit sugar. That number is considerably less than cherries with sugar or apple juice added to them. Unlike food from China, I am willing to buy food products from Turkey, which is justly famous for its figs. The ad for these cherries on Amazon gives us useful information about these tart cherries, which I recommend, with the warning to watch out for the few pits or fragments dispersed in the bag.

Tasty, healthy dried fruit. NO added sugar. Just a nice tasty and healthy snack. So many dried fruit snacks have added sugar but here is on that does not !!!

Ich habe mir so Verschiedenes Trockenobst zugelegt, weil ich nur so mir meine Smoothies jederzeit machen kann, auch wenn mal gerade kein Frischobst im Haus ist. Je nachdem, wie sämig und Süß das Getränk, oder sollte ich es etwa Flüssigfrühstück nennen.. am Ende sein soll, mache ich mir bis zu zwei Esslöffel von diesem Trockenfrüchten ins Mixgetränk. Dann noch ein Proteinpulver mit rein, fertig ist die erste grsunde Mahlzeit des Tages. Die Trocken.Früchte sind frisch, der Geruch auch okay, bin zufrieden. Deshalb gibts von mir auch volle 5***** und meine Weiter.Empfehlung

..diese Saurkirschen schmecken sehr gut im Müsli und es war eine flotte Lieferzeit..!

Mir schmecken diese getrockneten Früchte sehr! Anders als frische Sauerkirschen sind sie lange haltbar und verderben nicht!
