This is the best shower drain hair catcher I’ve used. It fits perfectly and installs in seconds with no tools. The stainless steel feels sturdy and high quality, and it catches a lot of hair without slowing down the water flow. Cleaning is quick and easy, and it stays in place during showers. After weeks of use, it still looks brand new. Highly recommend if you want to prevent clogged drains.

I was skeptical about this device, but after using it for a few weeks, I'm a convert. It securely captures 2x - 3x more hair than my original, gridded drain cover, yet it doesn't restrict water flow to the drain. And it lies so flush to the floor that it hasn't posed a tripping hazard, or become unseated when I've accidentally nudged it. (I had been concerned that, since it doesn't screw into place like my original cover, it would be easily knocked out of place, but it's so low-profile and because it has the well for the mushroom that keeps it in the drain, it doesn't.) Very easy to clean out the hair - just lift the little mushroom. I used to collect the hair from my original cover after every shower, and initially did that with this device, but now can do it just 1x/wk. (I could wait even longer, but choose to keep on a regular schedule 😬)

I wish the silicone insert stayed or could atleast buy them separately. It works well but it should snap in somehow. It does grab the hair and is easy to clean.. also easy to loose

I’ve been using this drain protector in the bathtub and it has been very helpful for me. Before using it, the tub would often get clogged because my wife and daughter wash their hair there and a lot of hair falls into the drain. Since I started using this product, I haven’t had any clogging issues. What I appreciate the most is how easy it is to remove the trapped hair. The center piece collects the hair, and you can lift it out without taking anything apart. Another thing I liked is that there is no installation required just take it out of the packaging, place it on the drain, and it works. In my personal experience, it has been practical, easy to maintain, and has given me good results in everyday use. I’m very satisfied with it.

Perfect for what I needed, bought many others trying to get just right with fit, hair catching deal. This worked great overall. It fits just right and does catch hair or any debris needed. I find cleaning the hair out along with soap scum feel is gross concept feel but seems to clean better wet than dried. For cleaning out each shower is probably best but at least two or it will prevent draining. Plug part is a great edition to have as well and has great suction.

It slides around in my new shower stall. Haven’t used it enough to know how well it catches hair.

Update- while this didn’t work for my drain, customer service was great. Unless the hair is dropped directly on top of the cover, it just slides under the sides so it really doesn’t catch a lot of hair unfortunately.

This item does its job, just as described: it fits perfectly and captures all hair in a swirl around the plastic center, while the water has plenty of holes to run away. I'm 100% satisfied (am even considering to buy a spare one).
