I can't recommend them based on this high failure rate
Bought ten of these, and within 6 months, 6 have failed so far. I imagine it's only a matter of time before the other four fail. I can't recommend them based on this high failure rate.To the credit of Lunera, they were very responsive about issuing replacements, but it's just frustrating to spend so much money on these bulbs only to have them repeatedly fail well before their 20+ year expected life.

Purchased March 2016. Used over kitchen sink in high ceiling. Failed July 2017. So much for claimed "long-life".

Bought six bulbs for use in my home. Half of them have already failed during the past year. The company refused to honor its warranty claiming 'non-commercial' application.

Works much better than the fluorescent
I have more than 15 of these installed. More than a year now on some of them. Works much better than the fluorescent lights
