These wall paper tools do the job! I used them to put up my son's wallpaper. It works very well and I will purchase it again! Great tools, I will even use it for my wall paper in my room. I excited about putting mine up. I would not put wall paper up without these tools. It is also not expensive.

I am putting peel and stick wallpaper in my bedroom and needed some simple easy to use tools. This was a nice set. At first I thought the red smoother might be too small, actually it is a nice size and worked well especially with bubbles. Bubbles and I are having a conversation in an old house - this worked well. The little blue smoother was also really nice for short small areas and the knife is perfect - sharp, very sharp. Be careful. I would have loved a lid for it.

Pros: easy to use with paper. Size is appropriate for handling to cutting contact paper or wallpaper.Cons: wasn't easy to use with peel and stick backsplash titles. Also the blade doesn't hold securely in. It isn't stable when in the pen like holder.

Just a X-Acto knife and extra blades are the same price or more at a craft store. The smoothing tools work really well with all of the beautiful peel and stick wallpapers that are on the market now. They are sturdy, but they don’t scratch off the surface of the wallpaper when you’re smoothing it out. I have used peel and stick wallpaper on my ceiling on pieces of furniture on countertops and just about everywhere else so these tools really came in handy. If you haven’t already done so look into some of these Peel and stick papers. They are so realistic looking and not like the cheesy contact paper of the 1970s. They have ones that look like weathered boards, tin ceiling tile, stone, brick, backsplash tile, paneling and high end designer statement wallpaper like you see in magazines. It is so easy to apply and looks so realistic. I am 62 year old grandma so my days of sawing and mitering to put up bead board myself or long past. With the help of this kit you can transform your home and give it a high end look with little cost and little effort.
