First, I would like to say that the back and the sides of the case are very well constructed and that the port seal on the bottom works really well. However, the toggle lever on the left that allows you to switch from silent mode on or off only touches the switch when the phone is lined up perfectly front to back. This is made almost impossible as there are a several millimeters of give that slides the phone toward the back when you touch the screen for the first time making the silent lever useless. Additionally, this space of movement causes touch screen registration issues around the edges of the screen as well as sometimes in the center due to the gap messing up how the phone's touch sensors register you finger. This is especially noticeable on the lock screen as by default when locked, the touch requires more precision to allow the touch input to avoid false registrations/pocket unlocks. Well sealed, but the loose fit makes this case pretty unusable without constant frustration.

This is a great cover! I was used to the iPhone 8 that was completely waterproof. I didn’t realize that the iPhone 12 mini was “splashproof “… It’s definitely not waterproof!I love this case and use it every day. It works well with the wireless charger.The wrist strap assures me that I won’t drop it when taking pictures in a tenuous place! I used it on vacation and did not drop or lose it!When I have dropped it, there has been no damage to the phone!I have used it underwater taking pictures and videos in the pool. No leaking either. You cant use the touchscreen under water, but to take pictures is easy when the camera is set up, just use the volume up & down buttons.Great product!

My stock in Minute Rice has tanked since I bought this case! I bought this because I have a habit of getting my phone moist either by puddle or by any other way you can think of that requires putting it in rice overnight. This case is advertised that it can be used under water for a short period of time. I'm a dropper and it is usually in water, I recommend testing the case like they suggest when you first get it. I think they recommend testing for 10-30 minutes. When I tested it I put it in a bowl of water and promptly forgot about it for 3 hours. When I opened the case there was a very small drop of water inside about 1/4 the size of a dime. I have sunk it more than once and came out dry every time. That is the only reason I bought this case and it has paid off, I just might take some snaps of some fish in their native habitat,

The phone case didn’t fit correctly. First of all, the switch for the ringer on the case doesn’t line up with the actual ringer notch on the phone, so when you put your phone in the case, it turns off the ringer, and you can’t turn it back on. Also, the case is super difficult to close; I had to lay it on a flat hard surface and press down on it to get it to snap shut around all the edges. Needless to say I didn’t feel comfortable putting my weight down and pressing on my brand new phone. It’s also VERY hard to get your phone out of the case if you want to take it off. I was afraid I was going to bend it trying to get it out. It seems like the case fits too tightly. I returned the case because of these reasons.

This case fits the iPhone 12 Mini perfectly. The built-in screen protector sits perfectly on the touchscreen unlike some of the similarly priced competitors. The screen protector is not flimsy like others. The case itself is solid. The buttons and switches and port are accessible and easy to use. There is a cover/protector for the camera lens block.

The depth inside is just a little too much. You have to press down more when texting and using the touch screen to make good contact. Other than that it’s a great.

So far very happy with this case but have only had it for a couple of weeks. Installing the phone is easy and comes with a "key" to make removing the phone much easier. Great color selection. My husband loves the bright pink because it's hard to lose then! Time will tell if truly waterproof.
