A Tiny Device that Revolutionizes Your Shooting Experience -- Really!
This button literally changes the dynamic of using either the Fuji X-T2 or a number of Fuji cameras listed above. It's hard to believe such a small, seemingly inconsequential item--nothing more than a button that screws into the shutter release screw hole of your camera--could make such a difference, but it does. As soon as you attach it and start using it, you notice that the camera is more comfortable with which to shoot, and the protruding button even helps reduce camera shake during shots (particularly if you do as the manufacturer says, which is to lay the first inner joint of your index finger on the button instead of the tip of your finger). Having used it now for a while, I would not look forward to shooting without one. In fact, I will probably purchase a second one! This is a very high-quality piece, made of machined, anodized aluminum, and you can purchase it in different colors with different patterns. It should never break, but you have to be very careful about the button becoming unscrewed during use, and then lost. The manufacturer has explicit instructions to help minimize this from occurring, but you have to carefully follow those instructions: they are not hard to do, but they are essential in securing the screw. (The button uses a small rubber o-ring gasket to help secure the button in place, but if you don't follow the recommended instructions, you might lose the button.) Also, another couple of approaches the company mentions to help secure the button is to use a very small amount of Loctite or even a small amount of fingernail polish to hold the button securely in place (you want to do this carefully, and sparingly, because you don't want either of these liquids to enter the actual shutter release under the button). Finally, customer service is outstanding. I had an issue which I contacted the manufacturer about, and I received a response from a real person within one day, and they fully took care of my issue to my complete satisfaction. I wish I could say that about other companies, but these guys take their customer service seriously, and that's another factor you should consider when deciding on which button to purchase. This is an easy five-star product. You'll know it the minute you pick it up, and then again when you start shooting with it.

Great customer service from Lensmate
Ordered this release button for my Fuji X-T20. It arrived Monday and was immediately placed on my camera where it fit nicely and looked great. On Tuesday, I took the camera out for a couple of outdoor shoots. Later that evening, I noticed it (the release button) was gone. On Wednesday, I contacted Lensmate via Amazon just to let them know I was disappointed in my loss after one day of use. On Thursday, I received a response saying they sent out a replacement that day! That's pretty awesome. Also, the letter recommended using a small amount of Vibra-Tite VC3 or Purple Loctite on the threads of any release button, not just Lensmate's. It will hold it in place securely, but not permanently, as these are low-strength threadlockers. I plan to get some right away. Thanks, Lensmate!UPDATE: Today is Dec. 10th, 2022. The Purple Loctite has continued to hold and the release button is still in place and is performing well. Still happy. :)

You should have this
My clumsy fingers had trouble finding and operating the tiny shutter release button (actually a stem) on my X-T10. Also, I found that fiddling around with that poorly designed shutter stem sometimes added motion blur to my shots. I ordered this shutter button even though some claimed it would become loose and fall out.The button arrived elegantly packaged in a plastic box, somewhat like a set of fine cuff links. I installed the button on my Fuji X-10 and it stayed put. It has never become the least bit loose. The rubber doughnut around the screw holds it securely in place. Makes using the camera more fun because there is no fiddling around trying to find the shutter release. (Bonus: it looks good on the camera.)This button does change the feel of the shutter release; a few shots are needed to get used to it. After that, taking pictures is much easier and you may find that you can press the release with less disturbance to the camera. It added a lot of fun to my camera for only a few bucks.ps: My button has remained tight and stayed in place so far. But what if it didn't? What if I lost it? Well, I like it so much that I would order several and keep them in my camera bag. Once you shoot the X-T10 with a button you will never want to shoot without one.

Easily auto-loosened and, thus, lost.
Looked pretty, well made, and like it would be great addition to my Fujifilm X100T…Unfortunately, it managed to fall off after one of the first couple times I used the camera with it on.Definitely screwed it on all the way, until it was tightly fit — apparently it doesn't take a lot to loosen up.Have since replaced it with the Neewer 10mm Diameter Red Metal Convex Soft Shutter Release Button. So far, so good — seems to be a better fit, overall.

Looks good, feels good...but falls off.
I love the quality but they always fall off. I am now on my third (and yeah...that adds up). They definitely require plumbers tape or another act of ingenuity. I cut a tiny piece of tape and covered the thread hole on the camera, and then forced the soft release through. This tiny amount of tape forced into the threads has now kept it on and not getting loose. Do not buy this unless you have the energy for adding a little tape. Otherwise, nice metal that feels and looks great on my Fuji camera.

High quality, functional, and looks great!
Very nice add-on. Looks great and is a perfect match for the thumbgrip. I no longer search for the shutter button. The rubber washer keeps it in place quite well. A bit expensive but worthwhile buy.

I don't recommend this. Like other users
I don't recommend this. Like other users, the button came loose by itself few times. I was able to find it last time but this time I really lost it. I am upset as this is not a cheap button. It should not come loose by itself
