I have loved all of the American Girl series books for my daughter. We had previously bought her some of the body series books and were very happy with them and this book was no different. This book is so fun and colorful and my daughter immediately went to work taking the quizzes about her babysitting style and wanting to share many parts of the book that she especially liked. We bought this book to help start her thinking about how she would handle situations in the future and give her some good tips to creatively interact with children she will babysit. I am very happy with this purchase and would buy again.

My 11 yo daughter has loved this book. She is a year or two away from babysitting and she is learning now what to do and what not to do. Perfect for her age!

I have purchased several of these Smart girl guides for 11y/o granddaughter. I read them all before I gave them to her, so am confident of content. I appreciate the positive teaching tool that they are. She can then discuss things with her Mom or Grandma's as needed. I think it's a great way to help a shy girl open up and get info that helps her grow into a strong individual. I'd rather she get correct info from parental approved book than from friends who don't have correct info.

I have an 11 year old daughter that really want to start babysitting. This has a lot of practical tips inside. Some she already knew just from helping out with younger cousins, but overall, I think this is a great book to help girls understand that babysitting is a commitment to health and safety of young children, not just a way to earn some extra cash.

The book has cute pictures and explains everything really well. I highly recommend it for beginners and experienced babysitters alike :)
