My older front-load dryer door had a worn out latch after so many years of use. Tired of using packing tape to keep the door closed so it would work, I watched several YouTube videos, and built up my courage to try. This part from Amazon was perfect! Took some doing, but after the old part was removed, I could see that the three optional parts each had a number etched on them (20,22, and 25) and I could see that mine needed the "20" part. Had to wait one day past the expected arrival date, but it was worth it! I feel like a champ! Make sure you look for the part number, and you'll be a champ too.

I have a Whirlpool dryer (WTW7500GW). The dryer door would not close correctly. I replaced the latch assembly which took me like 5 minutes. That was 3 days ago and the dryer door seems to be working fine. Considering a repairman wanted to charge $139 dollars just to come to the house. I definitely saved some money.

I changed out the latch on my dryer. It had no instructions but I got it changed, however since I changed the latch my dryer door will not stay closed. Not really sure if I even did something wrong.
