My first one went south after about 3 years of almost daily use. I bought another brand but was sorely disappointed because it took way too long to toast 2 slices of bread. So after 3 months, I tossed it in the trash and bought another Granitestone. Never will buy any other brand of this item. It works great and it is quick (which you need).

Had a little problem with the bread crust it did not smash as my previous one did since the outside plastic is in the way. It cracked. Does not affect the unit just not enough room for the bread on the edge. It works fine Just a little better design on the edge.

The corners got broke after few uses. It didn’t fell to ground or anything. Just broke with the heat I guess. The bread doesn’t get stuck tho, is fast I guess it gets too hot and then the corners broke.

My kids always beg for grilled cheeses. I usually say no because my adhd gets the best of me and I burn them every time… now my 8 year old and 11 year old make their perfect grilled cheese without mom deciding to clean the kitchen in between flips.

I love this, bought it for occassinal use for the nostalgia (my grandparents had one when we were growing up that got frequent use) but I use it way more than I thought I would, if you don't eat a lot of bread, the plates are none stick, you can skip the top slice and it won't glue it shut(or sub the bread for egg after applying a little butter, yum!) plates wipe off like a dream but try and avoid anything oozing onto the plastic casing, that is not none stick. The price is insanely low, I feel like I stole it so I have to eat a little guilt with every perfect cheese and tuna melt but it's worth it. There is no temp control so it's one high heat to cook but I haven't burnt anything yet.... This is a great tool for the price, doesn't take up tons of cupboard space, is easy enough to clean and is definately something I'd buy again or recommend. Simple easy product that makes simple easy food.

This granite stone sand which maker looks great, however thought it was kinda flimsy, however once you go to use it it was amazing didn’t take long to cook heats fast and nothing stuck to it, didn’t even butter the bread . I’m impressed

Out of the blue my husband decided he wanted one of these. I have way too many kitchen gadgets, but since he indulged me with most of them I thought it might be nice to reciprocate, so we looked around and found this one. It looked to be of good quality and was reasonably priced. We ordered it and actually got it the next day, so that was a plus! So far we have used it for grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, which takes very little time and just requires a quick wipe to clean off the crumbs. I also like that it stands up to store so it doesn't take up much space. We are looking forward to trying some other recipes, there's tons online as well as some in the booklet that came with it. Overall we are very happy with this purchase, and would recommend it!

Oh boy, hold onto your sandwiches because I’ve got a bone to pick with the Granitestone Sandwich Maker, Toaster & Electric Panini Grill. Let me tell you, this thing is about as reliable as a chocolate teapot. Where do I even start? How about the fact that the corner plastic piece decided to take a vacation from the rest of the machine the moment I tried to close the lid? Yeah, you heard that right. It’s like the sandwich maker decided it had enough of its own job and just gave up. And let’s talk about cleanup, or should I say lack thereof? Sure, they claim it has an “ultra nonstick mineral surface,” but I swear my sandwich stuck to it like glue. It’s like trying to separate two pieces of Velcro that have been superglued together. And don’t even get me started on the so-called “easy cut edges” – more like “easy rip your sandwich into a million pieces” edges. So, if you enjoy spending your hard-earned cash on appliances that fall apart faster than a house of cards in a hurricane and leave you with a kitchen mess that rivals a toddler’s finger painting session, then by all means, go ahead and buy the Granitestone Sandwich Maker. But if you value your sanity and your sandwiches, do yourself a favor and steer clear. One star? More like one big disappointment.”
