Yes. The boxes are almost 3 inches square and about 1/2 inch thick.

Are these boxes completely clear plastic? Or is it somewhat of a Milky plastic?

I need the lower part of the box only, no lid. Could the lid be easily cut off without leaving a sharp edge?

If you use something very sharp it should be fine. If there is any Edge left over it could easily be removed with a sturdy nail file or a piece of sandpaper wrapped around a ruler or something similar.
