I was thinking about getting the sleep number dual temp pad, but the one in the store was not working so I could not try it. But I am skeptical of it, being on top of the bed and taken away from some of the comfort of the bed. I have two beds. One is in a townhouse, which is a sleep number bed that never got moved to my single family home. The sleep number bed by far is better than the foam bed and the foam that I put on the current bed works well, but reflects heat. Another thing to consider is the sleep number dual temp pad is twice the price. So today after using my bed yet for about two weeks, I was in the mall and able to test the dual temp pad, which finally got fixed. It feels like it works and it might even distribute the air in theory a little bit better. However, it’s not nearly as strong as the bed jet. The bed jet I didn’t buy the special sheet for it. I just stuck it underneath the fitted sheet and then I throw my own sheet over top of the edge to make sure it catches all the air coming through. Sometimes my sheet pops up and kind of floats, some people might not like that, but it doesn’t bother me at all What I like is it is pulling the heat away and I’m really surprised to say that even on the other side of my body with the air moving around it seems to suck the heat away I’m no longer noticing that trap heat feeling. And what is also nice is even if you don’t put heat on, you can still warm it up a little bit more on the cooling- example: I tend to run my room which is on the top floor and has a window AC to augment frosty cold down to about 66 But I can set this to blow 74 or 75 under the sheets on the cool setting. This is about perfect for me except occasionally if I’m running hotter, I’ll run it the temperature down. I also sometimes hit the heat on when I first get in and then it almost immediately turn it off, just to kinda get settled in the bed. I have an iPad that is on an arm that I can pull and push away from my bed and I can run the bed jet that way or use the remote. It’s great it has changed my feeling about the bed a lot. Depending on how thick your thread count is on your fitted sheet, you may get a different result. Or you may just want to go ahead and get the cloud sheet. What I also find nice as I don’t have to worry about that cloud pad from sleep number going bad if you have pets and they pee on it they’re kind of a little bit out of luck. At least with this it’s just blowing under the sheet and what I like is because it’s not attached to a pad, You can move it up or down the bed regardless of what they suggest. With the sleep number thing it fits only on the side in one position and you can’t change it. With the bedjet you can choose also to put it at your feet if you prefer. The remote and the app for me both work really well. Short answer is if you’re not sure just go ahead and get it and give it a try and if you don’t like it, you can return it.

I have been using this for 4 months now and I LOVE IT! I sleep super hot and used to wake up sweaty several times a night. This has helped so much with my hot flashes and just being hot at night. I didn't have the special sheet at first and the air flow is not very effective (IMO) without it. IMO you need the special sheet made to be used with this product. It should come with it IMO. The air out put is strong on high and will even get very cold but it's good to have the option and I love the turbo settings for those times when you have to get up in the middle of the night and get chilly. It will turn your bed into a warm oven in seconds. The fan is not loud unless you turn it on high but it's not so loud that it is annoying. I like sleeping to the sound of a fan anyway. I highly recommend this for everyone. It's so nice to get cooled off in a hurry or warmed up in a hurry. It's like having a personal a/c and heater unit under the covers. Spoil yourself and get one.

I actually love this thing, but you definitely need the sheet that goes with it. It’s expensive but it’s worth it. Otherwise air is blowing in one concentrated area. The ONLY reason that I don’t give it five stars is because it depends on the temperature in the room. Unfortunately, my AC has been out so when my room is hot, the air that blows is also hot. That defeats the purpose. I really enjoyed it for the two days I had it before the air went out. Hopefully my hair will be fixed soon and I can go back to having actual cool air blow into the bed.

I have a health condition that plagues me with night sweats. Often times I needed to move to the downstairs couch to finish my night's rest because my sheets were WET with sweat. Not damp. Not swampy. Literal "did I pee myself?" puddles. Truly, I was sleeping with 3 separate, high velocity fans pointed at me from 6-12 inch ranges. It was like sleeping in a wind tunnel. Put a windmill in there and I could've provided ground wheat for the entirety of the Eastern seaboard. My poor husband had to jump ship most of the time, because it's hard to sleep on the set of Twister. And yet, with all that wind power, I would still wake up drenched. I ordered the cloud sheet and bed jet at the same time. The bed jet arrived 2 days earlier (the sheets were delayed). Since it had arrived and I was desperate, I decided to go ahead and try it with my own sheets (which technically are jersey, but I also have a duvet). Holy crap, Batman. It's perfection. It's peace in a little white box with a hose. For 5 nights now I have slept through the night (expect for getting up to pee) and I haven't woken up in a puddle of sweat once. I wake up feeling actually rested! My energy during the day has increased, my mental clarity has increased, hell, I've even lost weight. And I can now sleep next to my husband again! In addition to being a normal human who doesn't prefer to sleep in a howling tunnel of wind, he also radiates the heat of a small volcano. We slept in separate beds most nights, especially when I was having problems with sweat. Now he can sleep in the same bed! I don't feel like I'm about to be in "Pompeii: Act 2" and he doesn't feel like he's about to be flung headlong into Oz. I have one little fan left, because I like to have air on my face. The fan head is about the size of my hand. It and the bed jet are about the same volume. Which is to say, if you can stand a small, personal sized fan, you can definitely do a bed jet. I find it to be a very pleasant, low white noise. I will say, I didn't love the cloud sheet. It poofs up with air and provides a cooling/warming environment, but I preferred the direct stream of air on my legs/body with my own sheets/duvet. But that's truly personal preference. I like the sensation of wind and putting it kind of around my shin area has been the best. All this to say, I waited months to buy this. Don't be like me, get it today. It's a major life upgrade.

For years I have had frequent summer nights where I lie in bed uncomfortable and thinking if I could just rig a fan to blow under the covers I would be comfortable. I could crank the AC way down but I am on the 2nd floor, I'd have had to have it it at 68 all night. I didn't want to use so much energy. So I just endured the warm nights and dreamed of some sort of bed fan. Well that is exactly what the Bedjet does. And it works great. I am not even using the special cloud sheet yet, I just put the blower between my fitted and normal sheet. So it is sort of like a cool breeze on me under the sheet. Unlike one other reviewer who didn't seem to like it that way, I think its fine. Maybe when I get the cloud sheet I will change my opinion, but I think it is perfectly fine without it. The remote is also great, it is well lit but not too bright, lots of info on the screen and you can control everything. The price is higher than I would expect (it's kind of just a very fancy fan with a remote -- I guess it can also heat but I doubt I will ever use that) but I have been sleeping so much better so totally 100% worth the price. edit: I wanted to add some additional information. Some reviewers were complaining about the remote. I haven't had any issues with it. It was linked already when I first used it and it has never unconnected to the fan unit. It is easy to see in the middle of the night because the buttons are all lit. The screen tells you the exact speed and temp and time left. If I wake up and want to adjust the speed (it does happen because the room cools as the night progresses), it is simple and just takes a moment. One reviewer said you could just get a hydroponics fan with some ducting and have the same thing for much cheaper. Maybe so, but I'd give up the ease of making that middle of the night tweak. I'd have to get out of bed and go adjust the fan by hand, it would be much more disruptive. A few others complained that it's just blowing your room air over you. For me that works great. But my room is never really hotter than about 78. But even at that temp I never run the fan at full, because I would wake up later very cold. Another edit: I finally got the cloud sheet, and it's even better. The area at my feet still is a little colder than the rest, but otherwise the cool temp spreads out nicely. Highly recommend to get the special sheet. Also, I do use the heat mode in the winter when the room is cold, I turn the heat on while I brush my teeth and it's nicely toasty when I climb in bed.

Great product. Best customer service I have ever had. Great gift for a 70++ parent. My mom has issues with partially underground walls in her apartment that stay cold, including the wall right next to her bed. She is almost 80 and has a fair amount of joint pain, so the cold was making it uncomfortable for her during the winters. I wanted to find a gift that would help with the issue. We ruled out space heaters, heating pads and dehumidifiers. Because I had heard how wonderful they feel, I was looking for a forced air warmer like some hospitals use on patients before surgery. When I found the BedJet, it seemed like the perfect answer. Ultimately, I bought two, one for her and one for me. My mom loves her BedJet. She is technically disinclined, so she has the simple non-programmable version. Because of her slightly limited mobility, the box was a little awkward and heavy for her to get in the door, but once she opened it up, carrying the unit was not difficult and she set it up herself, no problems. She has mentioned at least once a week since then how often she uses it. She uses it a lot during the day - if she is cold or stiff, she turns it on while she is reading in bed. Apparently the cat finds it entertaining as well, so if you have a cat, be careful at first or your legs might get pounced on. Without any evidence to support this, I would guess that the BedJet is cost effective in that she is heating the smallest possible area of her room.. I love my BedJet. So far, I have only used the heat function, but it has been great. It's much better than sleeping in a warm room and then getting hot later on at night. And it feels so much better than a heating pad. My legs get hot even when my body is cold, so I have it set up on the side of the bed and it warms me only where I need it. I can't wait to program the cooling function in the summer to turn on in the middle of the night and blast just my legs. I have set the unit up both under the bed and beside the bed and the noise is never obtrusive. Customer Service - mine worked great for two weeks and then it still worked, but it started clanking. The packaging was damaged, so even though there was no visible damage to the unit, it looks like it was dropped upside down during shipping. I e-mailed customer service early Sunday morning describing the issue. I had a very polite and helpful response within a half hour. They immediately committed to replacing the unit and asked me to send back (at their cost) the one that I had so that they could analyze the issue. They shipped the new unit out on Monday, even though it was a holiday, and I had it by Tuesday. I didn't have to wait for them to receive the one I was shipping back before they sent out the new one. I had enjoyed the BedJet so much for the short time I had it that it was great to get a replacement almost immediately. I have been using it every day since. Bottom line - I would give up coffee before I would give up my BedJet.

As a 45 year old woman in a noisy city apartment, i feel like I've barely slept the past couple of years. Went on a quest for the perfect noise-cancelling earbuds last year and solved that issue (which ended up being a combo of 4 different sets of ANC earbuds all kept charged at my bedside for quick changes), but have recently gotten to the end of my patience with the pre-menopausal night sweats, tossing and turning to find the cool spot on the bed/pillow, and the endless cycle of violently throwing the covers off to dry out and then pulling them back on because I'm now freezing. And so because I'm--as my coworker says--on a never-ending quest to always be improving some aspect of my life, the research began. I was definitely put off by the Bedjet's price point at first. The cost of the unit plus the queen sheet was fairly cringeworthy, and I continued my search. I ended up ordering one of the sub $200 swamp cooler mattress pad things first, but was having buyer's remorse before I even unpacked it from the box. After some thought (and discussion with the man I'm dating, who wishes he could snuggle me more often when we're sharing a bed, but also prefers not to end up drenched in my sweat), I pulled the trigger on the Bedjet. I figured I'd give it a try, hold onto the swamp cooler pad to try in case the Bedjet didn't work for me, and return whichever one was the loser. Last night was my second sleep with the Bedjet, and even though there's definitely a learning curve with the settings, I'm hooked! For the record, I'm using it on a queen bed with (from the mattress up) a 3" "cooling" memory foam topper, a mattress pad, 400 TC fitted sheet, 400 TC flat sheet, the dual zone Cloud sheet, and a lightweight quilt (by Opalhouse from Target). I chose to use a normal flat sheet between my body and the Cloud sheet so as to avoid having to wash the Cloud sheet as often as I do my normal sheets, and I think this is causing me to have to use higher fan settings on the Bedjet. I don't mind this, but YMMV. I have also slept with my thermostat set to 67 degrees and a Honeywell vortex air circulator fan in my bedroom for the past couple of years. The first night I turned the a/c in my apartment down to 67 and turned my fan on at bedtime, as usual, then cranked the Bedjet's cool setting as low as I could get it with the fan blowing like crazy, thinking that would be the magic bullet to cure my sweaty sleeps. I ended up chilly with this setup (which wasn't a huge deal because I had my partner in the bed that first night anyway). Last night I was on my own, and decided to adjust things a bit. I set the a/c to 70, turned the fan on, and started the night with the Bedjet set to cool at 74 degrees with the fan at 50%. I actually found that the air circulation provided by the Bedjet is what seems to be helping me the most, and ]thinking my temperature sweet spot may be the cool setting between 76-78 degrees, at least when I'm solo. I'm going to try adjusting my a/c up a bit tonight to 72 (it's at 72-73 during the day, and I'd LOVE to save some cash on my power bill), and see if I the Bedjet can keep me comfy at 74-76 with a 50% fan speed. I haven't yet played with the biorhythm settings, but am looking forward to setting that up and experimenting once I figure out what settings I like for when I'm too hot or too cold. I imagine I'll also have to find my go-to settings for when I have my partner over, as I definitely sleep hotter when being cuddled. Overall, I'm thrilled so far with my purchase, and feel fortunate I was able to snag the v3 on a lightning deal at $389. I will likely be starting to look for deals or a used unit to use when I'm at my partner's place. I would also recommend the Cloud sheet. It's oddly pricy (can an Etsy seller please start offering a more price-appropriate aftermarket version, maybe in some colors?), but I do feel like just having the fan blowing at my feet all night wouldn't be nearly as effective as having the "air blanket" resting on top of me. If it's something that you can swing financially, the investment in quality sleep may be worth the cost of this system, even if you have to put it on credit. I already feel like my quality of life has improved over just 2 nights, and will only get better once I've dialed in how to best use the settings.

Quality construction, nice remote, easy to use. Operates as advertised, consistent temperature control, night sleeping now much better. Make sure to use the 'Biorhythm' temp control function - settings will adjust automatically through the night for a comfortable sleep. Before I used it I just set a standard temp but then in the middle of the night I sometimes would wake up to turn the temp down or up.
