Before I knew this existed, I tried to use polyurethane to seal my chalk painted furniture, which wrecked an otherwise perfect project. It turned out blotchy, super disappointing. But I needed more Dixie Belle for the next piece I was doing, so in reordering, I see a recommendation for this wax sealant and figured I would try it since the poly was such a failure. Huge, huge difference! Working this into my finished project in a circular motion and wiping down the excess and my painted furniture now looks showroom quality. I am SO very pleased with how it turned out! Overall, Dixie Belle chalk paint is cream of the crop and the wax sealant is how you preserve it. So, so glad I bought this!

Love this wax! I used black to add depth to a very flat paint used on a dresser I refinished. The wax did an amazing job of adding character and sealing. Now I’m painting a huge picture frame to contain a white board space for my kiddos. The picture shows the amazing transformation. I add the wax and then rub it in with a lint free cloth. It’s forgiving, you can add and wipe off as needed. Then let set and voila!!

Takes a little time to cure, you want to make sure you buff any excess off or it will take even longer. Overall, however, I’m pleased with the product.

The wax is rather hard, which surprised me. I have bought other waxes before that were a lot easier to use. I painted a frame and did not feel I needed to use the wax brush that I have, since the frame was not very big. I tried to rub around the top of the wax with the cloth I was using, but was not getting much on my cloth, so I ended up using my finger nail to dig some out of the can and dab it around the frame and then rubbed it in with my cloth. It is a nice wax and did what it needed to do, but I would not consider it easy to use because of how hard it is. I also don't think it is worth the $ they charge for such a small can.

Used in a table I repurposed. I used some chalk paint then used this product seal it. Worth the money and the table looks amazing!

Great wax for chalk paint. Easy to work with.

I used this product in the dark wax over their Road Trip chalk wax to make an old gold plastic mirror look like a hand carved wood mirror. Cannot recommend it enough. Very easy to use and loved the results. Just be aware that it’s a walnut based wax, so if you or anyone in your family has a severe walnut allergy like my husband, just take extra caution to keep it away from them.

I don't often write reviews, but this product definitely deserves one. I purchased this furniture wax for a refinishing project, and I was genuinely impressed with the results. It applied easily, had no unpleasant odor, and provided exactly the finish and protection I was looking for. The quality exceeded my expectations, and it performed exactly as described. My only small criticism is that the container was a little smaller than I expected. However, the quality of the product more than makes up for its size, and a little goes a long way. I really wish I had taken before-and-after photos of my furniture because I honestly didn't expect such a dramatic improvement. Had I known how well it would turn out, I definitely would have documented the transformation! It's refreshing to find a product that truly delivers on its promises. Since this is a small business, I'm especially happy to support them. They have earned my five-star rating, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again. Highly recommended!

Great product! I’m happy I didn’t heed the negative reviews and ordered this wax anyway. This product arrived on time and it was in pristine condition. I used it on an old dresser I recently painted with Country Chic chalk paint and I love the results. I applied it with a wax brush which was an easy process. The end result is that the wax puts a subtle sheen on the surface and makes it smooth to the touch. Overall excellent product that I highly recommend. I also found the videos very helpful in showing me how to apply.

Grey wax over black paint. Goes on well but definitely changes the entire color to a silvery gray with black undertones. It hardens after several days. I purchased a 2nd container of clear wax to use for future applications on these chairs so they will maintain the current shade yet stay protected. One tin did 10 chairs andc2 pedestals so it goes a long way! Easy to apply with a short bristle wax brush. Soft cloth to wooe off excess.
