A must have tool for any professional cleaner
Advanced Tech ReviewThis device has helped me many times to pull stains out of carpet backing, the larger version can be used to pull even from pad. In commercial carpet installation (glue down, stretch, double glue, or even float) this tool eases the effort to pull moisture out the carpet without intrusion to installation and is a must have for commercial carpet cleaners.Tech Tip: do not choke the tool by prolong extraction, let it breath every few second. Clean right after use or the housing can corrode and break from chemicals. Do not pressure on the tool, simply place it on the area and let it do its job unless stain is very deep, light pressure may help. For upholstery you can also pull moisture or stains out of the cushions, Dacron, Down or foam to avoid moisture build up, mildew, mold, and odors. Great drying tool as well as spot and stain removal.

It sucks! Really well!!
The media could not be loaded. I got this in a last ditch attempt to save my carpet from our family pets who have gotten older and couldn’t make it outside in time. It’s either this or replace the carpet. Honestly, I think it may be too late to save the carpet but if I had this thing awhile ago, I could have kept up with the pet stains over the years and not needed to replace the carpet. This little sucker (lol) goes a great job and pulls up an amazing amount of dirt, hair, grime, and other things (I don’t really want to know) from beneath the carpet layer all the way to the pad and subflooring.

Powerful cleaning tool
I used this today as part of an ongoing effort to save 2 area rugs that my dogs love to pee on. The device fit right into one of the included tubes of my shop vac, so that was the first good sign. When it was in action, it really sucked the water and detergent out of the rug! I previously tried the included attachment in my shop vac but it created so much suction that it kept pulling up the area rug. Not this. It stayed firmly on the floor and only sucked water. It was easy to shimmy around the carpet pulling water as I went. The pros: easy to use, powerful, fits the shop vac without additional accessoriesThe cons: it's smaller than I would have liked, and the screws became loose after awhile, including the handle screw which kept staying loose. I am trying super glue to keep it together. I didn't want to take a star off for that though because I don't regret buying this.

You need a powerful shopvac to use this properly
A few tips on using this.Use a lot of vacuum power from a quality high powered shop vac. not one of those dinky ones.Treat the area with recommended cleaning solutions, draw out as much liquid as you can so any pet urine is removed and flushed with clean water until you see no color in the clear side of the tool. I recommend using clear water to scrub into the carpet so you can dilute the urines and draw it up multiple times. it works if you apply a lot of pressure to squeeze out the padding and any fibers saturated with fluids. You can use duct tape to seal the top of the tool to the vacuum hosemake sure you rinse the tool out after use so it doesn't get stinky and dirty inside once the liquids it draws up enters it and sits there over time.Professionals have a similar tool that does a larger area, but they also have a larger vacuum to use with it, this tool does really well as the most powerful vacuum you can buy retail.

Overpriced
I missed my return window. Boo. This is no more useful than an extractor attachment for your shop vac you can buy for $8 on Amazon. I spent $50 based on the race reviews. I could have been halfway to a new carpet shampooer if I’d saved my money. They’ve gotten so much less expensive while also getting stronger and lighter! Save yourself - don’t buy this.

Pricey, but valuable to really suck out liquids
Have used this a few times to extract spills from upholstered furniture. I connect it to my Vacmaster VWM510 shop vac and the combo does a great job of pulling out liquid.Spray with cleaner, let sit, suck again, rinse, suck again. Rinse and repeat. In order to make the connection, I used a hose adapter from BigBlueBoxHardware.

Must buy to get dog and cat urine out of carpet padding.
The media could not be loaded. I was getting daily complaints by my upstairs neighbor of a odor that was killing him my PM came in and said there was a odor but it wasn’t that bad. I tried for months to find something to get the dog urine out of the carpet padding everything I read said there’s nothing that can be done and the carpet should just be pulled and replaced I finally contacted a professional carpet cleaning company that said my residential carpet cleaner does not have enough suction to get to the carpet padding they quoted me $150 to come in and use their solution and a water claw I didn’t want to ask my PM if they could come in and clean it so I started looking for water claws which are anywhere from $400-$1000+ so I searched for something cheaper and found this and knew this is what I needed and it worked the odor for the most used spots are gone. I use the Amazon Commercial Enzyme cleaner let it sit for 5-10 mins and use this and it sucks any liquid in the padding right up. This is a must buy if you are experiencing the same odor issue it will save you so much time and money.
