Best Friend Loves It!
I purchased this item for my best friend who just started out in his newly loved hobby. I purchased the XY1000 and he is just loving it. The weight is just right for the size of the fishing reel. It is also beautifully designed and colored. It is very easy to use and it gave him better chances of catching a fish. The item is the same as in the description box and the image is almost identical to the fishing reel that will be delivered to your door. I am happy that my best friend is happy. Nice smooth and well balanced reel
Paired this 1000 reel with an OKUMA 6'6" rod. Man does it cast nice. Line went out nice and clean. I haven't had a reel that has retrieved this smoothly and balanced ever. Spooled reel with 6lb. mono for testing. With only a light weighted bobber, it went about 40+ yards! Last month I also picked up a couple of different Kastking spinning reels (2000). This Sougayilang is a better in my opinion. Smoothness of operation and casting distance. The only thing I don't care for is the round handle, I've never had one like this, just feels awkward in me hand. I've been trout fishing for 55+ years, and this would be my favorite reel so far. Don't tell the wife. but I might get a few more of these! Good quality and good price.

faulty for a second time
spare spool broke at top when spooling line ,re ordered and same thing happened when spooling with 2lb sos line only this time i damaged a spool of sos line.not happy
