I rotate them regularly and dry them in the sun and have been happy with how they solve this problem
I use these as a dam under a claw foot tub that we can't get a curtain all the way around so that water that splashes out doesn't seep into the rest of the bathroom. They work well. I rotate them regularly and dry them in the sun and have been happy with how they solve this problem.

Great Help in Controlling Water
My parent's basement has water issues...and with most every rain, the carpeting gets damp. I spend hour with a shop-vac trying to pull up the water. I bought 2 sets of these and placed them (on top of the carpeting) near the cement wall where I believe the water to be entering. I was amazed that after a huge rain...which lasted almost all day...the pulled up an amazing amount of water. I was surprised they actually worked, but when I checked on the basement the next day, they was only a small area that was wet on the carpeting. I just ordered two more sets so I could change them out while one set dries. They aren't 100% perfect, but they sure cut down on my time in mopping up water. Again, they were sitting on top of the carpeting and still absorbed a lot of the water. I am pretty happy with the results.

Water Snake
It's really nice to have long ones. It was a bit dusty when you open them at first. I would open them outside and then bring them inside.

Water resistance
Sometimes when it rains really hard or for several days, my windows get a little water inside the sills. These help a lot and I like the large ones in case of any water anywhere else in the house. I have had that happen a couple of times. Until I get drain work done, I have to be careful on rainy days.

Dirty and Skimpy
I have bought water snakes in the past through Carol Wright Gifts. This was my first purchase through Amazon. Water snakes have always worked well for me in the past. I use them to catch the leaks that come into back porch during heavy rains. This product from Amazon looked the same so I bought it. What a mistake! When I got the package, I noticed a lot of dirt/dust through the plastic wrapping. So much, that I put it aside with intentions to return but I missed the time to do so. Opened the package today and had to wear gloves and cover nose- that's how much dirt/dust was in the package and in the water snakes themselves. Thought I could salvage them by beating the dust out but not worth the bother. Plus, they are skimpy. Don't buy these.

Ehh... probably would just opt for a towel next time
The items were as described but they take forever to dry out and get smelly.

They actually work!
I was skeptical... my basement gets pretty wet when it rains a lot. Yes, I need to fix it, but 30 to save me some headache while I work on saving for the repair? Priceless!

It makes a better wind stop than a water absorber
The media could not be loaded. For some reason our window is still beading up with water. This really hasn't done much of anything. I'm sure it's time to just replace the window. This would be better if it was a little bit skinnier so it would fit better in the window itself. It's very thick like three and a half four inches thick and it's pretty round so it doesn't fit very well would be better used as a door gym to block wind which to be honest might end up being its purpose. But having two in the package maybe we can find some other purpose for it.
