100% REAL. I actually got 121 shells instead of 120 shells. NO ODOR. You just have to wash them due to some sand which does naturally get stuck inside. If you have to wash it, it is real! I assume people leave bad reviews to reputable suppliers because they want them ALL FOR THEMSELVES TO REORDER! NO SHELLS OF MINE WERE BROKEN AT ALL! They arrived in a bag and once I saw the dust of sand on the inside, that is when I knew I got real shells. Obviously I am a beach lover so I would know.. This new spoiled generation is lazy and not true nature lovers who expect all the shells to be clean and new looking as if they come from a factory just makes me die of laughter! STOP BEING LAZY AND SIMPLY USE A MILD SOAP WITH HOT WATER TO CLEAN THEM, RINSE UNTIL NO SAND COMES OUT AND STOP COMPLAINING! I will definitely be making necklaces out of these and pray they have more in stock when I go to purchase them again. Another thing I want to address, the size. PEOPLE, THESE ARE REAL SHELLS, YOU DO NOT GET TO CHOSE YOUR SIZE, THEY CAN NOT CUT THEM TO YOUR LIKING! I was not born in the hippie Era unfortunately (parents were), my mother said they used this same exact size of shell for their jewelry and hair! So there it is. FACTS! YOUR WELCOME MY NATURE LOVERS! I used a pen for reference of the different sizes you may get. FUN FACT: The individuals who HAND pick them on the beach are having a blast! I envy them!

The media could not be loaded.  These shells are great. I see a few reviews complaining about smell, I didn't experience that. They just smelled earthy. Regardless you should always Wash them pre wear. warm water and soap, rinse, dry them off, and you're good to go.

True cowrie that were picked and immediately bagged. Only reason I'm giving four stars is that the shells have to be washed very good to get the sand and other debris off of them. I had to wash the shells maybe 4x altogether

I bought these in 2018 they were very smelly which let me know they are authentic. I boiled them in baking soda. That took the smell right out. I rinsed dried and they were still shiny. I love them. Thry brought s lot of blessings and protection. thank you so much. I will order them again.One Love ❤️
