I bought the Superking size. Arrived on time and very well packaged to prevent any damage. On unpacking I was very impressed with the finish and quality. Screws and washers are in a blister pack. A ratchet Allen key is thoughtfully provided and this considerably simplifies the assembly process. Assembly instructions are very simplistic, but easy to follow. All frame parts and fittings are individually labelled so very easy to identify and assemble correctly, All holes, fittings etc lined up perfectly. Finished size of bed was as claimed and very sturdy. No squeaks or rattles. It took me just under one hour to put together without any assistance. I am very pleased with bed frame, it looks good and very good value for money.

The instructions said as easy as 123. At first I was thinking too much!! Few false starts. Then I stopped thinking and went with the 1,2 and 3. I was building it for my mum and I don’t usually do spurting furniture together. It came with an alan key and a ratchet Alan key. Brilliant. It is so solid and a great height as she is 85 and wanted a higher bed frame. Very happy with it and a ten year limited warranty. There were extra screws etc in a separate bit of the packaging so you can cut it out and keep them and it was all idiot proof!! Can’t recommend it enough and a great price. Lovely wood.

I don’t often leave reviews, but as we were putting this bed together, I was so impressed by everything, I knew I had to come and give a 5 star review. Everything was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! PROS; Packaging. The packaging was compact and efficient, yet, they doubled on cardboard where necessary so the bed was completely protected. The polystyrene elements were in plastic wrap so if they broke apart, bits wouldn’t go flying everywhere! Construction ease and build quality. It took two of us just under 10 minutes to put together. It was so simple and straightforward. Every dowel, screw, bolt and nut that could be pre-fixed in place was in place! Everything is so well machined that it lined up exactly. Velcro in the parts where the slats fit to stop them jiggling about, and where wood might usually meet would, they covered with a rubber material to stop it sliding about and creaking! They’ve gone the extra mile on all the little details. The way the nuts and bolts were packaged means it so easy to find what you need for assembly, they even included a ratchet Allen key (which normally costs a fiver to buy from Amazon) to help with assembly. This bed is solid! The materials aren’t some cheap, flimsy plywood or hardboard. This is real timber. It will last ages! Appearance. Once built, it looks sleek and stunning. Our son is absolutely thrilled! He wanted a bed like ours (which we got a couple of years ago from Wayfair for three times the price of this bed!!) this bed is identical in appearance to our more expensive bed from Wayfair, however, the build quality of this bed is far superior to the Wayfair version. CONS; Absolutely none!! Get this bed! You won’t regret it! I am ordering another bed for our other son. Absolutely thrilled!

For a Chinese bed it is very impressive. First of all the attention to detail on everything: the protective Styrofoam in the packaging comes bagged in to avoid little bits and pieces get all over the place. Everything you need to assemble this bed is included and the screws come as a kit grouped in 3 sizes along with 2 kinds of washers and an allen key. The accuracy of the holes on the pieces is impressive and I can't thank enough the lady back at the factory in China who for a pennies worth of wage put the numbered stickers on the parts that show you which parts need to be assembled together. The assembly is a piece of cake really if you follow the instruction illustrations. Took me an hour to assemble on my own. One piece of advice for you. DO not tighten the screws unless you got the whole thing assembled and on the ground. And also get an electric screwdriver to screw the bolts in place. For £160 the quality is superb and let's face it for that price you cannot expect anything that looks flashy, just your basic sturdy bed. And this is it and it looks good also! The only thing left to see now is if it can withstand a lot of sleeping and vigorous sexual activities.

The main parts of the frame are well machined and for the most part are a good fit. As others have said, the makers have very thoughtfully included a ratcheted allen key which is just the right size to fit in the awkward spots when tightening up the bolts. It's a well thought out assembly kit and seems pretty solid. I only dropped a star because the wooden slats have a rough unfinished surface that even after rubbing them down with a cloth and some lemon oil remain likely to damage the mattress fabric over time. Note I originally tried to use boiled linseed (which worked well on the slats of a previous bed I owned over 20 years ago) but unfortunately the only overpriced bottle I could find seemed to consist largely of strong smelling white spirit, so I didn't bother. Eventually I may sand the slats down and wax them, but in the interim I will try to find a felt pad or use an electric blanket to protect the mattress from the slats as I don't think a mattress protector would be up to it. Final thoughts are its a good bed frame, but I would have bought one with an integrated headboard, had it been available in the same wood.

Very very impressive bed especially considering the price. Genuinely couldn't be happier. It was incredibly easy to follow the instructions because of: 1. Sticker numbering system 2. All screws and fittings clearly labeled and a spares parts being provided 3. Quality solid wood to nothing got damaged on install 4. A little ratchet Allen key that was a million times easier to use than traditional one I'm going out of my way to write this review because I put another bed from Argos together and i was cursing through our the whole install because of how bad it was My only wish is for Zinus to do more furniture like wardrobes

My partner has always wanted a king size bed but we didn't have the room for one. I came across this bed and it was perfect because it's exactly the size of a king mattress. Beds that have head and foot boards are longer and wider. It worked out at about the same size as our double bed. After reading the reviews I thought this is perfect and I was right. I can't get over how much bed you get for the money. It's really well made and the instructions to put it together were great. Dare I say it but IKEA should take a leaf out of their book 🙂. They thought about every little detail. The central metal frame has got rubber grommits to stop squeaking if the bed moves. The slats are velcro which I've never seen before but works so well. The provided sticky strips on the bed are holding up. We've rotated our mattress a few times now and it's still very sticky. We've had this bed for about a month now and it's as solid as the day we put it together. All in all it's amazing.

Nice cheap bed frame, very easy to assemble by one person only. Delivered fast and well packed. Crystal clear instructions, Spare parts included, good quality tools and well packed. The bed looks smart and seems sturdy enough with wood of reasonable quality. The long side joists have middle supports, which are must to avoid the timber from snapping when sitting. I would definitely recommend this product. Quality 8/10; Price 10/10; Assembly 10/10; Design 8/10, Delivery 10/10.
