COSCO 091508 Easycut Cutter Knife w/Self-Retracting Safety-Tipped Blade, Black/Blue

Safety blade! Works great & used properly!

It's safe and excellent for me.

I got this for my wife for work and she really likes it. It’s sharp and cuts well. I opened boxes with it and it’s easy to use

This box cutter is exactly what I needed at a low price point. The self-retracting blade is a great safety feature, and it's more than adequate for opening packages and light DIY tasks. I'm giving it 4 stars because while it works perfectly for my needs, the plastic casing feels a little flimsy compared to heavy-duty industrial cutters, but for home use, it's a solid choice!

I love this box cutter. It's lightweight and easy to use. You can easily store replacement blades in the knife itself (it includes several with purchase) and because it uses standard blades, the replacements are very inexpensive. There are several features I've never seen before that I think are very useful. * You can select how much of the blade you want to expose at any time. * Edge guides to help you open boxes safely. This knife is well-designed and perfect for household use.

We've gone through a lot of styles of safety knife where I work, and this is my favorite by far. Most of them, while adding safety features, really make you feel like your're giving up functionality for those safety features. This one feels safer with the highest amount of functionality maintained. I have purchased these for "go packs" for computer deployments at sites that my company has purchased and they worked out well-- no one gets cut. They're especially good for opening boxes taped with clear shipping tape, webbed brown paper style tape and even slicing open electronics boxes that are sealed with tabs. Fully satisfied and fully recommended.

I purchased this for my move into my new apartment and let me say this is the best couple of dollars I have spent on moving supplies. I have always used scissors to open and break down my boxes but this time I opted for this box cutter. I couldn't be happier. This cutter was used for days on end and never wore down. It was able to cut through the toughest tape and even was able to cut through straight card board for those hard to break down boxes. I love the features like adjustable blade length. I really like the safety feature of the easily retractable blade and its quick and easy to replace the blade. This is a great purchase and is an awesome tool to have on hand around the house.

Not sure why this utility knife has almost 5 stars. It's cheaply made plastic. Definitely not what I expected. Will work for its intended use, but I would not buy again.

المنتج جيد من ناحية الفكرة، ولكنه يفتقد المرونة، حسبت ان الموس تخرج نصفها او اقل حسب رغبتي، ولكن للأسف لم يكن كذلك، فيه أفضل منه واقوى

the blade does not extend as far as i wanted. Blade only extents half the length of other utility knife

This is the second of these I bought because I love it so much. Makes cutting boxes easy (and safe)! Retracting blade only protrudes 1/2 inch in use, has a slightly rounded tip, and then blade self-retracts into handle upon release. All without effort or difficulty. Very safe and effective. Love it.

Great quality knife for daily work use. I need a knife that I can deploy and retract the blade on quickly and effectively while wearing thick insulated gloves. This knife works perfectly, I squeeze the handle and it cuts effortlessly through any shrink wrap, then I release it and drop it back into my overalls pocket. Way better than trying to fight with a thumb push blade with gloves on, or a folding one that you have to take gloves off to use. If you're wearing heavily insulated low dexterity gloves, this is a dream. I can't recommend it more for anyone working in warehousing or a grocery store. And they're durable, even while frozen and dropped on concrete repeatedly it hasn't cracked or broken.

Easy to use, lock mechanism very good.
