Fashionistas Doll #165 with Wheelchair & Ramp, Wavy Blonde Hair & Tropical-Print Outfit with Accessories

This is the 6th Made to Move doll I have purchased and I am so glad I picked this one. She is very pretty. My previous experience with a MTM doll was a bit of a letdown as she was defective and I didn't notice it until after the return window had expired. I was slightly reluctant to order again but I just love the articulation in the MTM line so I had to give it a shot. This doll was worth the risk. She is just lovely. She has fairly neutral face paint and a sweet expression. That does matter so much to me as I will most likely be doing a head swap. I love her skin tone. I was searching for one with a pinker tone and she does have it. I was also happy to note that her skin tone is even across the whole doll...no different colored joints. As with most MTM dolls when they are new the joints have a tendency to be a little stiff especially in the elbows. I recommend that you flex them very carefully the first few times to loosen them up. If you are giving it to a child I would definitely recommend doing that to avoid breakage. I haven't mentioned the wheelchair yet because that wasn't why I bought this doll. I got it because it has the MTM body. I most likely will not even use the wheelchair. I will say that is seems very sturdy and well-made. I like that it has a realistic paint job. The doll sits in it well and it has a clear plastic bracket to hold the doll secure for play.

Very well made, the Barbie is very pretty hair is soft and seems well rooted, all the joints move well except for the right elbow that was stiff but I was able to carefully bend. I doubt a 3 ur old can do it without breaking the arm., Sturdy and the anatomical detail is outstanding. The outfit is well made as well but I wish that she had long pants, after all, most wheelchair borne persons do wear long pants or dresses in real life. Mattel must be economizing on the material, same with the Ken on a wheel chair too. This is my 4th made to move Barbie and my granddaughter (4, now 5 yr.old) and I love them all. I do have 2 made to move Ken's too.

I used to have the same doll and bought it again because I wanted to keep her in my memory box with all the other dolls. She hasn’t fallen apart so that’s good

This was a birthday gift. My sister loved it. It came on time before her birthday. Such a great toy to buy for a child

My sweet niece has a mom who uses a wheelchair off and on. It is so cute and fun to use. It withstands the play from a two year old toddler, and I love what is shows her. She sees her mama represented in her barbies.

Very lovely doll. The Chair is great and I love that they include a ramp. I am hoping to help my granddaughters appreciate what handicapped people have to deal with every day. Their uncle, my son, is in a wheelchair. Accessibility is so important. So is compassion and empathy. I am glad this was available. The outfit is really cute, but most folks in wheelchairs don't wear shorts. AND THOSE SHOES! Good heavens why? They don't go with the outfit at all. Thankfully I had MANY other shoes to choose from, as well as outfits. Worth the purchase price for my purpose.

This is a nice looking Barbie. At last another mtm line. I’ll have a lot of wheelchairs when I’m done swapping bodies though. But I have to wonder, who styled her?! She’s wearing fern printed shorty pajamas, a weird lemon slice Fanny pack and hideous neon orange high heeled gladiator sandals. No one would ever put those together irl, and why wear pjs in a wheelchair? Anyway, I just had to comment.

I bought this barbie at the request of my 4 year old granddaughter. She insisted on having this particular model. I think that barbie shows vulnerability while teaching my lil grand compassion and understanding for those she may encounter outside her little barbie world! This barbie was also a great price!!!!

Lo mejor, el precio, aún incluyendo la silla de ruedas, la plataforma y por supuesto, la muñeca, es más barata que otras Barbies del modelo Made to Move. En cuanto a la muñeca, tiene una cara muy bonita, el molde es más o menos el de la típica Barbie de siempre. El maquillaje es bastante chulo, sencillo. Este modelo en concreto lleva unos pendientes de aro, personalmente no me gustan mucho. He sido INCAPAZ DE QUITARLOS. Su pelo es rubio, la fibra parece de buena calidad, tiene buena cantidad de pelo. Las segundas articulaciones de los codos estaban BASTANTE duras, me ha costado muchísimo doblarlas del todo. Pensaba que iba a partirle los brazos... Por lo demás, la ropa es básica, pero está bien confeccionada, el estampado es feo, habría preferido tela de colores planos. Se incluye una especie de riñonera en color amarillo, y unos zapatos de tacón color naranja. Y para terminar, comentar que me FASTIDIA MUCHO que para embalar la muñeca, LE GRAPEN LA CABEZA al packaging, no lo entiendo, de verdad... No es necesario, y no hay forma de sacarle los flejes de la cabeza. MUY MAL.

This was exactly what my daughter wanted, great design, she's played with it every day & loves it.

I got this for my daughter she is 5 and loves barbie. The doll is good quality, very good detail and made well, the wheelchair is plastic, very durable, turns and moves as you would expect. I got this for my daughter for educational purposes to show everyone is different not everyone is the same. It prompted her to ask questions and we actually had quite a good chat about different disabilities, races and such things. I think it is great for teaching children that sort of thing. It is full of bright colours and I love how barbie now have adapted to things like this. There is no discrimination at all. Really good quality, makes for lots of fun for my daughter well done barbie for introducing this to young children on a educational level.

Esta hermosa la muñeca

The other day my daughter asked me to help her make a wheelchair for her barbie because she hurt herself doing the splits. Her birthday is coming up so I searched Barbie wheelchair and voila! I'm sure she will be beside herself when she opens her pressie. Although still packaged, the product looks excellent quality and detailed. A great barbie product to teach acceptance, understanding and respect.
