Men's 550 Relaxed Fit Jeans

My husband has been wearing this style of jeans for years! He's so happy they're still available to purchase. They're comfortable, durable, and look great! He has somewhat of a 'bubble-butt'', even though he is not overweight, so finding pants to fit over his rear and still fit his waist can be a challenge. These are his favorites! They launder very nicely on a permanent press cycle and warm setting in the dryer. Be sure to wash them with dark colors, at least the first time, they did bleed a tiny bit. For reference, he is 5'9" and 172 lbs. The 32 x 33 fit perfectly.

I will have to admit I did go to a local store and try on this version of Levis relaxed fit jeans prior to purchasing on Amazon because their price was simply unbeatable. The jeans in the store fit perfectly and the jeans delivered fit just as well. I really like the blue color of these Medium Stonewash. It is just aged enough to make them look like they are just beginning to break in. The fit for me is ideal. I am very athletic so I do not like jeans that fit tight through the thigh area. These have the perfect fit for me because they allow to sit and stand without riding up or feeling confined. Also, the rear of these jeans have enough definition that it does not look like they are just hanging on me despite them being a relaxed fit cut. I can easily dress these jeans up by wearing a tucked in polo shirt or oxford shirt and nice shoes or dress them down by wearing a t-shirt and running shoes. I have now had these for about 6 months and even with washing them once a week they have maintained their great fit and the color has not even started to fade. I highly recommend these Levis and their Amazon price cannot be beat. Out of an abundance of caution you may wish to go to a local store to try on the different styles and cuts of Levis before buying them on Amazon just to be sure the fit you are buying works for your body type. Of course Amazon offers free returns on its clothing so you could also go that route too. I just do not like to deal with the trouble of returning stuff and then having to re-order.

I bought these for my son for Christmas and he loves them. The sizing was good. They are a nice weight jean and will definitely last a while. They wash up well too, no color fade or shrinkage. I got such a good price on them that I wish I’d bought another pair.

I wore these jeans five days during a ski trip. They fit perfect and I could hold them up with my belt thus the fit was just right. After the first wash they shrunk about .75" to one inch I have a different 15 year old version of this that is 31/32 and it fits well still. I am going to try buying 32/32 and I'll expect it to be too loose and then I'll wash it the same way I did these and then hopefully they will work well for me. The build of these jeans is nice and I loved wearing them, but just before heading out on a different trip felt I needed to swap for my older pair do to the shrinkage. AI said maybe the drier did it but I always use the drier on my old pair so that does not quite add up either. I am still satisfied but beware they might still shrink a little after the first wash. .

Don’t buy. I bought 2 pair of jeans for my husband. Within 3 months, both pairs had a hole in them in the same place, which was right beside the back left pocket. Poorly made. I have never had true Levi jeans do that esp only after having them 3 months and only worn a short time

550s are the best in my opinion. I really started to miss non stretch jeans as flex jeans began to over saturate the available options. They have a nice thickness to them that I also like in non stretch jeans. That’s why I think having a little extra room and no flex is a good combo.

Too small and very disappointing. My husband has worn Levi's 550 34x32 for 25 years. Now that Levi’s rely heavily on high-volume manufacturing hubs like Bangladesh to supply major online retailers like Amazon, sizing is not always accurate. Because mass-market production allows for human or machine variance during cutting and assembly, the standard factory "tolerance" (the acceptable margin of error) can be up to half an inch to a full inch smaller or larger than the tag indicates. • Many long-time Levi's customers note that pairs coming out of South Asian factories (like Bangladesh or Pakistan) tend to run significantly tighter in the waist and rise than pairs traditionally manufactured in Mexico or Egypt. *If it lists non-stretch 100% cotton, size up at least 1”. For my husband, we would size from a 34x32 to either a 35x32 or 36x32. Since we don’t know which pair will be made where and I don’t want to play the “will this pair fit game”, we’ll buy from a local store.

I'm a dude who doesn't look at other dudes. But when I put on these jeans, I was in awe of how perfect my rear was. I had to do a double-take to make sure it was in fact, me in the mirror. I bike a couple times a week, but also sport the traditional dad-bod. Expectations of me are near a lifelong low. However, these jeans catapulted me into a realm of sexy that was previously unheard of, even in my peak years. These jeans very well might have been the entire reason behind Mr. Timberlake's song about bringing sexy back. The color and fit of the jeans is exquisite. The length is ideal. The waist is exactly as expected. The magic they unleashed was off the charts. Go ahead and buy yourself a pair of these jeans. You won't regret it!

Love the fit of them

Bought two for my teen son. They are true to size. Sit well on the waste. They have the standard zipper button. The tapered bottom complements the look. No brainer... Always a yes
