Life Extension Skin Restoring Ceramides, 30 Liquid Vegetarian Capsules (Pack of 2)

I first purchased this along with Applied Nutrition Anti-aging Total Body Daily Defense one year ago. I noticed improvement within a month. I don't usually take time to write reviews unless something is exceptionally good or bad. I am 56 and have been trying assorted anti-aging products for a good twenty years now. I had a somewhat regular schedule of peels and microderms up until this past February (6 months ago). At that time I asked the esthetician about these products and told her how I thought they worked well. She didn't disapprove but said she thought it would be better to try to get the benefits by changing my diet to get the nutrients more naturally. She also was leery of these products as they don't have FDA approval so I don't really know what Im using or what standards are used in making the products. I agreed with her and discontinued use and amped up my diet the best I could. The results were not appreciable. I started back on this two product regimen three weeks ago and WOW, I already see a great improvement. It's not a huge difference but there is a difference that you will notice. I think the skin tone and texture is noticeably better overall, especially the under eye area where the crepey skin is. The wrinkles aren't gone but diminished greatly especially the crepiness. I can now touch a bit of concealer there and it doesn't immediately crease into the wrinkles. If you are looking for anti-aging skin care and maybe already spend a little or A LOT on treatments, cosmeceuticals, etc. I would wholeheartedly recommend trying these two products. It's $40 for nearly a two month supply (although I am doubling up on the Life extension for this first month). If you don't see an improvement within a month, well, you're out $40, not that bad considering how much these products cost. Personally, I have not had a professional facial, peel, or microderm since February. I am using cheap Cerave products for cleaning and moisturizing when skin feels dry, liberal use of coconut oil and these two products and my skin looks great! Like that 10 days after a peel great. It feels smooth like it would after an excellent facial. If you are on the fence, give it a trial. Let me know your results :)

I have NEVER met anyone with dryer skin than I have. I'm 46 years old and have been suffering ALL my life. My thighs and upper arms have always been bumpy and dry, scaly shins, flaky over the rest of my body and face (to the point that when I take off my clothing it is covered with caked on dead skin). I have tried every moisturizer on the market, have done all natural stuff and have even tried Borage Oil taken internally (amongst ALL other "solutions"). My after shower routine used to be using Jojoba oil on my face and body, then moisturizers, then sometimes more oil and creams. I have even resorted to using Vaseline on my body when the dryness was unbearable. All that said, I saw a post about phytoceramides and decided to do some research. After much reading and reviews I decided to give it a try...especially that the price is right @ $15 per month was worth a shot. I was concerned that the reviews "might" be "insiders" but again, decided to try it out. WELL, after JUST ONE WEEK I have noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference!!! I am SO THRILLED. It's the FIRST time in my life that I am not in any discomfort from the dryness, the bumps are nearly gone, scales are disappearing more and more everyday and my clothes have @ 60% less skin on them when I disrobe....and my face looks SO much better when I wake up. My results may not be typical, I knew that IF this stuff worked, because my case is SO SEVERE, that I would see a difference quicker than most. If you have dry skin issues, I really recommend you give this a try. I can't wait to see my results after a month...I am very hopeful considering the results so far after ONLY ONE WEEK!

My skin has some damage due to too much sun, and needed tightening. I gave these four stars so as not to create the impression that they do miracles, but used along with Cerave face cream I did see that my skin became smoother, a little tighter (enough for me to notice; I don't know about anyone else) and the creases around my mouth smoothed out but did not disappear. It does not reverse brown spots or other sun damage, but it does smooth and tighten. I am glad I found these and for me they are worth the investment.

I've waited 5 1/2 months to review this item because I'm aware that skin turnover doesn't happen quickly. I initially tried another brand and didn't like that it was a dry capsule, so, as a test, I gave it to my husband and he has seen no positive results, he says. I have used this product for the same amount of time. I cannot begin to say how pleased I am. I had an big ugly scar on my forearm (from dermatologist botched removal of non-cancerous 'crusty' as I call them.) It's been about the size of a nickel and cherry red for about 12 years. I really didn't notice at first but just recently, I realized it is almost invisible! It is still rough in texture but even that's improving, but it is no longer red and is slightly smaller. Then I realized my face looks really good! Old skin issues (areas where there are breakouts) have disappeared. A scar that was quite large (again from Derm botch) under my eye that went from dark and visible to lighter and virtually unnoticeable. The dark / age spots on the skin on my 62 yr old sun-damaged legs has smoothed out in appearance. But again, the biggest is my face. My skin looks good. The tone is even. There is a bit of a glow. The dry spots? Gone! The oily spots? Gone! Wrinkles around mouth which were never bad, are softer. Nails are better. So, I highly recommend this product,

I have only been using this product for a month. Within a few days I noticed my skin had more radiance, and I'm slowly seeing the lines diminish and my skin feels fantastic. I have already ordered more! I understand it takes at least four weeks for phytoceramides to start working from the inside out, and can take up to six weeks to see any results. It takes four to six weeks for many different vitamins and medications to start working. I give this product a thumbs up!

I ordered this product without paying enough attention to the word "Lipowheat" on the bottle. I heard all the rave reviews on the Dr. Oz Show, and couldn't wait to try the product. I used it for nearly three weeks, noticing a little bit of a difference ... but also noticed that my post-nasal drip and allergies began acting up at the same time. It's possible that my allergies had nothing to do with this phytoceramide product, but given that I am sensitive to wheat/gluten, I stopped using this. Since then, I've found similar products that are NOT derived from wheat and work as well. Also was concerned, given the Lipowheat, that calories are not listed on the bottle.

First thing that everyone needs to understand is this does take time to work your skin has a turn over rate and lets face it if you are like most of us you have done alot of damage over the years with diets, coffee, sun and drinks.but I have used this for a while and it does work the texture of the skin improves in a way plain creams can't do. I am 59yrs old and I look way younger for my age but my skin was begining to have a no so good texture to it. So changed my habits and started taking these my all over skin is looking great. My over all skin has a better texture than most 40 yr olds. Buy it !! It is worth the time you put into it. BUT is not a over night quick fix.

Bought this item twice now. Had a little hiccup with the shipping but it was resolved quickly and professionally. Also the product is exactly what I am looking for and will continue to re-order.

Good product except I received 1 bottle instead of 2. Pretty annoyed about that. Contacted supported who refunded me so all good in the end, just a shame the correct amount of items weren’t sent out.
