This soap dispenser may look lovely, but unfortunately it's completely useless. It matches perfectly with our bathroom and I somehow missed the reviews mentioning how bad the pumping mechanism is, and how it hardly dispenses soap -- if it all. Well, I got mine, and it's true... the pumping mechanism doesn't do a thing. It doesn't seem to get enough suction to pull the soap through the dispenser. I thought maybe the liquid soap we were using was too watery, so I tried a thicker type, but still nothing. If you really like this style, try this one instead! I have purchased four of these. Its beautiful in its design. And it looks great, yet unassuming in a bathroom. I would agree with some of the other reviewers that the pieces of the brush sometimes do not screw together firmly. Having purchased four of these, I can tell you it is the "luck of the draw." So why four, you ask? Because after about 6 months, the brush handle started to rust and leave rust marks on the white of the container. Rust is an unfortunate color in this case. So, i tried ordering just a replacement brush, but was unable to find one. Hence, I bought two more sets and filled the original ceramic container with dirt, moved them outside as a receptacle for my garden incense. The new handles began to rust almost immediately. So now I am back to square one. I would love to find a solution, if anyone has one.

It worked well for my needs until it broke... I used this in the kitchen for my dish soap. It is petite and perfect for the kitchen next to a regular sized pump for my hand soap. That way people would know the difference or at least go for the taller pump if they washed their hands instead of using this little one for dishes. However, someone accidentally tipped over this dispenser into the sink and it broke into several pieces. I know it is ceramic but I was hoping that it would be able to hold itself a little better than just breaking after a slight bump.

Nice quality ceramic and stainless steel brush set that looks great for modern bathrooms. My only reservation was I found the screw on handle slightly lower loose no matter how tightly attached. A bit of glue on the threads firmed up the joint, but if the tolerances were better, the looseness would not have been an issue.UPDATE: The ceramic container is fine, the brush however, rusted in short order and the handle kept coming loose from the brush. Rated adjusted down from four stars to one.

This is the 2nd 1 I’ve purchased because, after 3 yrs, our 1st one broke. My only complaint is that the silver paint can chip away from squirt mechanism & the top develops bright-green mold quite easily if you don’t take care to clean & wipe it dry, after every other use.

Definitely it’s very cute but leaks all over. Not happy with the purchase

It was exactly like I expected. It adds a simple elegance to my bathroom countertop. I like that the plunger is plastic because metal ones I have had in the past have all corroded. I liked the first one so well that I purchased another so now I have one to dispense hand soap and the second for lotion.

These are very attractive in the bathroom. The plastic ones available in grocery stores get ugly looking really fast. This can be cleaned out. The brushes that come with them are great foo. I have not yet located replacement brush heads, but when I do that will be great too.
