This is a really nice cleansing balm. It is not irritating to your eyes or skin (I have reactive, hormonal rosacea prone skin), has no issues removing mascara or other eye makeup, and does leave skin feeling quite clean, refreshed and un-stripped when done as part of a double cleanse. For people complaining that it does not wash off well, you need to get your hands a little wet after rubbing it in dry, then it sudzes up a bit as you continue to massage in little circles, and will wash off fine. Especially with your second cleanser, no issues. I also love that it has a fun, fruity scent to it, but has no essential oils or artificial fragrance in it. If you are looking to optimize glow with gentle ingredients, this might be essential to you, even with short contact times with skin, the enzymatic activity does seem to smooth over time. I don't know if I will be buying it again (I got it on sale for $22) but I'm enjoying it while it lasts, and as it does not take much product at all to remove makeup, it may last for at least 7 months. Given the quality of the ingredients (EWG rating of 2) effectiveness, and longevity, if I can get it on-sale again I just might stick with it. It is remarkably smooth going on, melts instantly on skin (better than hamish, beauty of joseon, and pyungkang yul balms), and is just that little bit more fun than other more utilitarian cleansing balms. It does NOT come with one of those little k-beauty spatulas, so if that's important to you, best save one from your old product.

Love a good makeup balm to remove my makeup at the end of the day. Works super well and melts everything off, even waterproof mascara. The amount you get for the price is also great. I was a little disappointed with the smell though. It doesn't smell bad at all but I do wish it did have more of a tropical papaya scent like it says. Not a big deal bc the product does what it is intended to do, I just like my products to smell good. Mine also didn't come with the little spatula to scoop it out the jar which made it messy with my fingers, I luckily had an old spatula from another makeup balm and used that. I bought this one over the farmacy brand bc it is cheaper, but I enjoy the scents to farmacy more. Both work great tho.

As a person who wears makeup just about daily, this product is a MUST. I have used other cleansing balms and hated how they were greasy and made my skin feels gross afterwards and still quite a bit of scrubbing to do to get makeup off. This balm delivers!! I will admit, I was hesitant to purchase it because of the price point but I’m so happy I did! It just melts all your makeup off and even waterproof mascara which is always a struggle for me to get off even when a product claims it takes off waterproof mascara. It doesn’t leave a greasy feeling on my face and smells nice also. I really enjoy using this product at the end of my day and I only have to wash my face then follow up with micellar water and literally no traces of foundation on the cotton square. It is a bit pricey but absolutely worth the purchase if you are a daily makeup wearer because it is not harsh and gets the job done! Highly recommend this to anyone!! I will repurchase from this product from this seller again! I can see this as part of my must have collection!

I tried this as a sample and fell in love, on my second full sized jar now. Luxurious balmy cleanser that melts makeup away and leaves your face feeling smooth and moisturized and it smells divine. Normally I don’t like anything scented but it has a light natural fruity fragrance that is relaxing and indulgent. It makes me look forward to washing my face.

The Glow Recipe Papaya Enzyme Cleansing Balm works beautifully as a makeup remover. It melts makeup quickly, even heavier products, without irritating my skin. The texture is smooth and luxurious.

Love this cleansing balm so much. It’s great to use when you haven’t washed your face in a few days or looking to get a deep clean. I use this most when I need to easily remove makeup from the day. It’s not harsh on my skin and doesn’t leave it feeling super dry once it’s rinsed off, a little goes a long way for sure but for heavy makeup days good to add a little extra.

This balm is so nice. It has a really light smell but it's SO nice and fresh. Takes my make up off really well and, although I do double cleanse, it doesn't leave my face feeling oily after use. Great product. It is really expensive, but if you want to treat yourself to a luxurious skincare routine I would recommend. Didn't think I would care about this product that much either but it's one of my favourite glow recipe products.
