Very Good Product
This is an excellent product. First thing I did when I received it was to give it a bath and then make a pot of coffee. Worked perfect! Stainless Steel means easy clean up and no unpleasant taste that can happen with other metals. It also packs very small and takes up almost no space. A very good price for a cup of coffee.

Makes a good cup of coffee.
It's the size I was looking for at a good price. It says 3 cups but the cup size they use is about 5 ounces. So, it makes almost 2 eight ounce cups. It's just right, though, for my 16 ounce insulated coffee tumbler. There's enough room to add cream. Form follows function and this percolator definitely does what it's supposed to. The coffee tastes good every time. The percolator top is not glass. It's resin. I replaced it with a glass top from a third party. GSI glass replacement tops don't fit this percolator.

Perfect size
The 3 cup pot is exactly what I wanted for my truck camper. Good quality, not flimsy, super cute, and easy to store. We find it to boil faster and with being smaller the handle does get super hot. But not a deal breaker.

Good small percolator
Perfect size for one person. The only complaint I have is that it came with very sticky labels that were difficult to remove,I had to use nail polish remover to remove the glue. Besides that the coffee pot is easy to clean and the percolator makes good coffee.

Perfect!
Took a chance buying this specifically for q replacement part for my glass Pyrex flameware percolator. I needed the top filter piece for the coffee basket and couldn't find any dimensions on that specifically but the top piece is almost an exact fit for the glass basket that comes with the 4-6 cup Pyrex percolator. You could use the whole stainless steel basket and stem assembly too but its a little but shorter than the glass stem that comes with the original. but I believe it would work. Thrilled this fits, its an extremely hard piece to find, most percolators are a larger fit, too big for the 4-6 basket I have. if you're like me looking for that piece this 3 cup perc works and its nice to have the simple metal small perc for when we are camping! its quite small tho only good for maybe one persons coffee

Overall, this is a great stainless steel percolator.
Update 12//28/2017: Sadly and shockingly, after less than a month of daily use (once to twice), the bottom of this percolator was no more flat and sat rather clumsily over my electric heating coil. I had been using medium high heat just till the water started percolating and then low heat till it had percolated for two and a half to three minutes. Because of this deformity I ended up returning this for a refund and ordered another one from Fox Run. That is why a change in the rating to 3 star from an inital 5-star. A good quality stainless steel is not supposed to become deformed like this! I own several stainless steel gadgets and utensils and have never, ever had any problem over decades. Update 12/5/2017: I had often come across reviews online (here & elsewhere) saying how some people think percolators make the best coffee. And I AGREE with them. If some people have a burnt taste in their percolated coffee, then it has nothing to do with the percolator but the way you are making the coffee. I haven't had any burnt taste in my coffee from this fantastic percolator. Original Review: Very good quality percolator. Ordered this as was looking for one to make just enough coffee for myself (8oz.-10oz. at a time), but this is great to make 3 cups. Received mine this morning and followed the directions that came with it. Added heapfuls of 2 TBSP medium roast coffee to ~8 oz. water, percolated for a little over 7 minutes (I tasted coffee at 5 min. and decided that I wanted a little more flavor) and right now enjoying the perfect coffee, that is why decided to write a review giving 5 stars. Quality seems sturdy and though would have preferred heavier grade stainless steel, this should last several years. Perc view top made of BPA-free resin as per the sticker on it. Might replace it with a glass perc knob for healthier purposes. Overall, this is a great stainless steel percolator and I am glad to have bought it. I enjoy the process of making coffee and own a drip coffee maker (going strong for 19+ years now, with once/ twice daily use), Bodum French press (one-cup used once every other day & 8-cups, used once over weekend), Bialetti stovetop espresso maker (6-cup, used once over weekends), a Chemex and a pour-over (though prefer using both in spring/ summer as not hot enough coffee in winter) and have to say that I enjoy the coffee made in all of them. Now I will also enjoy my coffee using the classic & simple stove-top stainless steel percolator.

Very pleased
We purchased this percolator to use while tent camping in conjunction with our Coleman gas stove. We previously used a Coleman stove top drip coffee maker but after several years the bottom burned out. We considered a less expensive aluminum percolator but opted for the GSI stainless version. We just returned from a 2 week camping trip to Maine & made coffee every day. I had experimented with it at home over our gas range to be sure I knew what I was doing. We tent camped the whole time so coffee is likely the most enjoyed luxeries along with an air mattress. I told my wife at least 6 times that this was a very good purchase. Here are some things you may want to know about this percolator if you purchase one. I also bought the paper filters (White Wrap Coffee Filters by Melitta 627402) on ebay as I don't like grounds in my coffee. They were a bit pricey but they slipped down over the center post and after putting in the coffee you fold the excess paper down in over the top of the grounds and it made a nice pocket that held them in nicely. I think I will try using the flat bottom type filter used with drip makers that is purchased in a grocery store in the future and just punch a hole in the bottom. Next - Its a stove top unit so as long as you keep it over the heat it will perk, unlike some reviews that I read that said when its done it stops perking. I don't believe they even used their percolator before writing the review. Next -The instructions say to perk for 3 minutes and no longer. I thought maybe longer would make it better or stronger but not so. Perking longer we found made it "bitter" as it boiled the perked coffee longer. We found that 4 minutes worked well though. To make it stronger one would just need to use more coffee. I also found that as soon as the water began to perk I turned down the flame so as to lower the perking temp. After it begins perking you are also boiling the perked coffee so I found this helped in making a better brew. After reading reviews about people breaking the small clear tops, I also purchased an extra Resin Top for the lid in case the original broke or something so we still could make coffee. The original was also a resin top and we had no problems so I didn't need the spare on this trip. I will also say that due to expansion and contraction that the resin top when cold doesn't fit tight and will fall out, however when hot (due to expansion) it fit snug. I learned after several times of dropping the top in the dirt when rinsing out the pot to keep my finger pressed against the top to keep it in place. Next - The bottom of the pot is very heavy made and the handle has an insulated grip that allows it to be handled without a pot holder. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this as a lifelong purchase. Our camp stove is 33 years old & I had to believe this will last as long as our camp stove has lasted as well.
