Vetnique Dermabliss Dog Allergy Chews for Itch Relief, Skin & Coat 30ct

My dog loves them. She’s a mini schnauzer and so far her skin has been great. She’s only been on these about a month.

They work great

My baby girl still has her allergies they do not seem to be helping 100% but she gets a little relief. Someday she wont take them cause they get slimy.

I have used other Vetnique products with no problem. That is why I ordered the Allergy Chews for my dog. The chews are very soft, even after placing into the refrigerator. Many chews arrived in smaller pieces but were easily "squished" back together. I don't know if they helped my dog as he refused to eat them. I cut each chew into smaller pieces and even covered each piece with ham...nope, he would not eat them. I was a little upset that they are not returnable, I am out $16.99. Oh well...... UPDATE: Vetnique contacted me directly. They will be issuing me a refund. The Allergy Chews did not work for my dog but I still have confidence in their products. I will be re-ordering the Anti-Itch spray and Wipes in the future. Thank you!!!

We use it all the time for our dogs

I hate to write this review but it’s important information ALL dogs owners should be aware of. This brand is popular and very mainstream so I decided to buy it when it said “for all dogs” and “Vet approved” well this isn’t the case. My 2 rescue dogs are 12 & 7 lbs each and had allergies and kept licking. So I followed the directions that said 1 chew for dogs under 25 lbs. my 12 lb 10 year old dog had a seizure on day 5 and she is not a sick dog nor has she EVER had a seizure! When I was at the hospital they asked me what she was taking and I mentioned this and showed them a photo of the ingredients. It was then that we realized the licorice in this chew is what caused her seizure! If you look up licorice root it has a mixed opinion on whether it should be allowed over the counter for both humans and dogs due to its ability to lower potassium and blood pressure. My dog is not on any meds and never had a seizure before and hasn’t since we stopped this allergy chew. I wish I knew about the dangers of licorice root before giving her this chew.

Was hopeful for relief but saw very minimal results. I have a 6 yr old dachshund who has seasonal allergies. Tried so many brands with no success. Back to Benadryl for her.

I purchased this for an elderly dog who constantly licks, thinking that it may have been an allergy. He loves the taste of these chunks which are an ideal size. I have not used it long enough to assess if it works yet.

Bit pricey an will not eat unless break down an mix with food.have not used for a month yet so will stick with it
