Excellent
I bought this CD for the sublime Edward Woodward and was not disappointed. His melodic voice and heartfelt readings were all I expected and more. I only wish he had recorded more poetry. The other readers were all excellent but the star for me was obviously Edward Woodward.

Enjoyable.
Thoroughly enjoyable and the star has to be Boris Karloff.

Kipling's poetry: readings
A good introduction to the poetry of Rudyard Kipling. It is a pity that space did not permit the inclusion of some of the longer poems, such as McAndrew's Hymn or The Ballad of the Mary Gloster. Mesopotamia, because of its contemporary relevance (it's about the folly of a war in Iraq), would have been well worth inclusion and is not too long. A collection of some of the shorter stories from Plain Tales from the Hills would be attractive as a follow-up.
