Simply Modern Flat Nose Pliers, 4.5 inches (114mm) with polished steel head, PVC grip handles and double-leaf springs, tool for jewelry making

This is my favorite tool. I use it all the time making jewelry. Yes, I'm a beginner, but I've purchased a couple tools that really don't work at all. These pliers are great. They Work!! I wear women's size large gloves and these don't feel too small or dainty to me. They're comfortable for me to use. Maybe I want a second pair for opening and closing jump rings? I mean, they really are my favorite.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I have a standard pair of 6" needle nose plier, but they were a little too big and awkward for the precise work I was using them for. These (Chain Nose) pliers fit easily in my hand for more delicate work without being as cumbersome. They are light weight, just under 2 ounces, with comfortable rubber coated handles. The tips of the pliers are perfectly aligned and meet together at the very tip end just as they're supposed to. The entire tool is well made with high quality material. They don't look or feel cheap in any way. I measured the entire plier at 4.75", with the two metal tips measuring at exactly 1" total length. (I wish they would include better measurement statistics in the product description.) I read a couple of reviews where the handle broke off on some individual's pliers. I pulled the rubberized material down from both handles of my pliers to inspect for any flaws or defects with the metal, but found nothing wrong. I even tried squeezing the handles together with much more force than I would ever need to apply during normal usage, and they felt completely strong and secure. I can only suspect that the ones that did break were probably due to an unfortunate anomaly that was overlooked during initial manufacturing, but I don't know for sure. Not that it matters concerning breakage, but I would recommend a drop of oil in the joint area of the pliers prior to usage, just to ensure long term protection against wear and stiff joint movement. Like everything else I place a review on, if something changes in the future with my pliers, either good or bad, I'll come back and update my entry.

Good quality, easy to use

I only give it a 4 because the grips keep spinning around whenever I work with them. It's kinda annoying. Other than that, they'd be one of my favorite pair to work with.

Great pliers. Feels good in the hands and is sturdy, not going to break anytime soon. Just the right size for crafting and jewelry making.

Sadly very disappointed with the quality of these tips did not meet and poorly finished! Have bought Beadsmith for years and these definitely did not live up to expectations- returned them for Benecreate brand

I had a pair of similar pliers that I wore out so can't wait to get back at my jewelry making with these.

Très bonne qualité, la pince est bien fine au bout et a une bonne prise en main à voir sur la durée (le système de "ressort" semble solide mais est retenu par les manches en plastique > cela pourrait se déchirer ?)
