After much research, I pulled the trigger on this Scosche mount. It fit well into the two different cup holders I've tried thus far and held my phone securely in place for thousands of miles in our RV. I recommend it!

Works well for my phone, fits firmly into a cup holder on my truck. When I need the cup holder, I just take it out and put it in the console. Seems low, would probably like it more if the stem was longer and held the phone up a bit higher.

Phone stays in place really well.Much more stable than my previous adjustable grip cupholder mount.

Works great with iPhone 8 that has protective case on the phone. Doesn’t work well with iPhone 12 Pro max. The phone is a bit too big and heavy for the holder.

Was looking for a short neck magnetic holder for our car. This fits the bill. Good construction The issue is the weak magnet on this compared to what is in my other car. The phone will slide off when you hit a bump.

The stem is just too short. Phone sits < 1/2 inch above console making it very difficult to get a charging plug into the charging port. Secondly, at maximum extension, the holder is still a bit loose. I won’t be able to use this mount. Returning. This is a cup holder phone mount. Many of the reviews are for a suction cup mount. That’s pure Amazon joy.
