I used the mount with a swivel and boat seat in my hunting blind on a raised platform. Works great! Better than any other type of chair. There are no chair legs to obstruct turning 360 degrees. Overall, very stable. There is some wobble, but nothing dangerous as some reviews stated. The mount is a tube-in-a-tube configuration, therefore, there will be some movement. The gap between the tubes is a few paper thicknesses. Using a ¼” diameter bolt instead of the included pin removed most of the wobble.

I have a KZ Sportsmen 14 ft. Travel Trailer and being small it had a table that converted into a bed. Got sick of having to convert that area each night, so I made the bed permanent and built a table off to the side. Since a typical Bench/Table set-up would take up way to much space, I made a small folding table and used Boat seats for chairs. I bought these bases, to hold the boat seats and they work perfectly. They are just the right height and strong. They are also very durable and still functioning a year later. Seller was quick to get them to me and did so at a good price.

I put new floorboards in my Jet-Sled last year. Never get to installing all the equipment that was removed. The old starboard passenger pedestal seat was taken out and I was up in the air on how I was going to replace or rebuild it. I was looking around and found this unit, it seemed to be a good way to go.I had to elongate the seat mounting holes on the mounting plate to bolt on my Fish-On seat base and repainted the filed edge so it won't rust. that was the easy part.Now that its installed the seat wiggles on the 2nd highest pin setting. I'm goin to sink some self-tapping metal screws opposite of the pin set to give it some stability. I don't think the highest pin setting is safe, it really wobbles.

East install so more time on the water fishing is what I liked. Fast shipping and holds alot of weight and still spins easy.

Perfect fit and very strong. I also added a metal plate under the decking for extra strength. Good price if you are looking for a permanent mount.

Very good quality so far. Great powder coating paint. Great packaging and delivery. About the product, I wish it had a lower setting. I like the lower setting for my boat, but for slow cruising would like a lower position.Updating my review, the paint on the base rusted in about one year and a half time, perhaps less, and during that time perhaps only 6 months or less of exposure to the ocean, not marine grade metal. This could be dangerous because if metal rusts enough, the seat could break off while driving and that could mean disaster

Used it to put a pedestal seat at the front of my Jon boat. Did the trick nicely, I like the ability to raise or lower the seat as needed. Some reviews said it rattled or was a little wobbly. That is simply a function of the 2 tubes that sit inside one another. I simply added a wrap or 2 of electrical tape around the bottom of the skinny tube (just enough to barely allow it to go into the fatter tube) and took out the slop nicely. Snugged it up and no more wobble or noise. Easy peasy.

Product is decent , it has no swivel even though the decal says so , had purchase the swivel seperately.
