Do you prefer this pasta press or the pasta roller? I know they perform completely different functions. Which one do you use more often?

I much prefer the rollers to the extruder attachment. I feel like even with a professional series kitchenaid, even the highest 10 setting takes forever for pasta to go through the extruder.

I would like to make some cheese straws. will this attachment work?

I doubt it. The dough required for this attachment and needs to be hard and needs gluten to hold it all together. If you plan to add cheese to the dough and do it that way, it may work, although I’ve not tried it. If you succeed, it would be great if you post the recipe back here

Does this come with the storage case? it says it does but i just bought one from william sonoma and it didn't come with one.

This model doesn't come with a separate storage case. The box it comes in has separate cut outs for the entire unit & disk. It keeps everything nice & neat. The box is very sturdy

Does this work on the kitchen aid artisan series ? model ksm150psbw?
