Bought this to get a resveratrol kick in my morning smoothie and it works well. Don't know if it is this addition but I am feeling more energized throughout the day. Nice, clean, fine powdered product. A+

I capsulize this myself and the powder is very fine and easy to use. Ordering my second bag as I use this in my Lyme Disease protocol. Seems to work very well, I can definitely tell when I don't use it. I take very large doses and boy does it help you to move things along! I highly recommend this brand.

I don't know what's in this bag but it isn't JK!! It's a bright orange color, tastes different and doesn't have the same effect as the other JK powder I was buying. I bought this thinking it was authentic, and it was a bit cheaper than most for a 1lb. pound bag, and as I'm treating a horse with Lyme disease in fairly large doses, buying bags of JK powder was getting a bit expensive. But....YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I don't know what this is but... BUYER BEWARE. I noticed a a difference in my horse within two days of getting this. She regressed. I immediately came back to Amazon and shelled out the $$ for the previous JK powder from the seller I HAD been getting it from, and will start her back on it today. Very disappointed that this is not returnable. I'm out an additional $35 now, and for what?? It looks like a bag of Turmeric. Eew.

I'm glad I found this. After working with the cut dried root this powder makes things a whole lot easier. I use it to make capsules and also as an herbal tea in an energy/weight loss formula I put together. Take too much Knotweed and it will clean you out....but in a good way. I take it because it is the best source for natural resveratrol, which is an antioxidant, has cardiovascular benefits, is high in polyphenolics which help in weight loss, is an antimicrobial, antiviral, and also studies indicate it is has anti-cancer effects. It can also thin blood, something to be aware of if you are on medication. And of course is one of the best go-to-herbs for healing Lyme disease.

Received today. Feels and tastes just like the knotweed i'm used to. Recently received a very questionable batch from plumflower, so if you're looking for bulk knotweed at the moment NuHerbs seems like the way to go.

It is mostly a powder, but has tons of little fibers in it. I can mix it in "chocolate milk" with the rest of my lyme powders, and most of it dissolves, but there are hundreds of little fibers in it (think the fibrous parts of ginger). It's darker brown, a nice powder, but I would pay $10 extra if they could remove the fibers. They aren't terrible, but you can't drink the last little bit of liquid or you'll get lots of them. I have to trust them that it is actually japanese knotweed, but I bought the chinese skullcap from them also, and it is bright yellow in comparison, different taste (salty/ sweet), and no fibers- so it's definitely different stuff. The price is good, and I have to use a lot of it, so it saves me a ton of money, but I would probably like to know how much reversatol is actually in it, compared to extracts that are recommended to be used.

1st Chinese herbals have a good rep on the lyme related forums and seems to be the only easily available source if you want to buy Organic Japanese Knotweed in bulk. The powder smells fresh, but grinded quite coarse so I recommend filling your own 00 capsules with it. Don't forget to roll the bag tight and keep it in the fridge after opening to preserve the freshness. Also it helps to check 1stchineseherbs site now and then, as they run sales and have coupons.
