LECHUZA PON Peat-Free Houseplant Potting Mix for Indoor Plants, Cacti and Succulents Soil Potting Compost 6L

Easy to use and so far plants seem to love it. I had to replant my piece lily, and usually these have a big old melt down when this is done but not this time, just waiting to see how they go over the next few months.

I swear by this stuff for my house plants.

I bought this after someone on Reddit recommended it for my sickly alocasia zebrina reticulata, it's made a huge difference. After a couple of weeks in pon he put out a new, glossy beautiful leaf. I have now put all my other plants in Pon. Monsters and philodendrons love it, peace lilies are no longer drama queens. I recently bought a couple of calatheas and so far they are doing okay too. I've even put a ficus benjamina in one - so far so good. I haven't given the plants a reservoir yet, I tried putting a spider plant into Pon with a reservoir and it rotted. They definitely need time to convert over and develop water roots. I top water about once a week then drain off any excess from my self watering pots. I shall try with a reservoir in a couple of months. This said, cuttings rooted in water are just fine with a reservoir.

I bought this to try semi hydro and my plants absolutely loved it! I started by putting my calatheas (known to be THE drama queens right?) and they settled pretty well immediately, stared giving me tons of new leaves, amazing chunky roots and no pests so far (it's been >6 months).

Excellent for indoor plants

My potting life has been changed! My 1st time using PON & I really enjoy potting up my cactus & sempervariums in it. I didn't pre rinse, It's not dusty to me. Let's see how my plants grow and develop.

Tengo decenas de plantas y hasta ahora he pasado unas 18 a Pon (previamente estaban en sustrato orgánico). De momento la experiencia es muy buena. Es el único medio en que han sobrevivido las alocasias. Algunas ventajas que veo: - No pudrición de raíz porque es un sustrato muy aireado y no te pasas con el riego. - El autorriego o reservorio es muy cómodo, sobretodo si tienes muchas plantas y te vas de vacaciones. La he utilizado con monsteras, singonios, pothos, alocasias, calatheas y de momento todas están muy contentas. Las fertilizo con fertilizante inorgánico líquido y muy diluido. Al principio la planta pasa por un periodo de adaptación que puede ser más o menos duro, pero en general después se recupera. Es un sustrato caro, pero construir un sustrato de calidad ( tierra+ perlita+ vermiculita+ fibra de coco etc etc etc) también lo es.

Ich nutze das LECHUZA-PON Substrat schon länger und bin absolut überzeugt. Es ist sauber, geruchsfrei und ideal für alle Pflanzen, egal ob drinnen oder draußen. Kein Schmutz, keine Schimmelbildung – und man hat endlich keine Erde mehr in der Wohnung. Die Pflanzen wachsen darin gleichmäßig und gesund, das Substrat speichert Wasser perfekt und gibt es nach Bedarf wieder ab. Auch der integrierte Langzeitdünger ist super – man muss sich kaum noch um die Nährstoffversorgung kümmern. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass es nicht ausgetauscht werden muss und die Töpfe dank des Gewichts schön stabil stehen. Fazit: Einfach genial – saubere Lösung statt Erde! 🌿💧
