A bit large
Fits a smidge larger than expected but that’s ok! The width is perfect. I have a slightly wider foot and these seem to be on the wider side! If your feet are narrow and skinny, size down. I wear an 8 1/2 in athletic shoes and an 8 in wedges or boots w a small heel. I ordered an 8 and they were great. I could have possibly gotten away with sizing down BUT because it’s almost winter and these aren’t a summer style, the extra space will be perfect for thicker socks.
