Thwarted my cat dragging water bowls off the counter!!
Yes… we have the cat’s water bowl on our counter!! Let’s move on!! I have one cat who moves lighter weight bowls with her snout & chin as she’s drinking! She had dragged the bowls off the counter a few times making a mess on my wood floor! We tried a lot of things, short of duct tape to stop this… didn’t work!! So I was on the hunt for a heavy bowl that would stop this!! I found this bowl though and so far, 3 weeks in she hasn’t moved the bowl 1/4”… nothing! The bowl is too heavy for her to move! But the bowl is also not a garish monstrosity on my counter either… it’s short enough and is therefore unobtrusive! I don’t have a picture to share right off!! Will try to update later when I get a pic!!The bowl was also inexpensive enough that I didn’t feel guilty buying it!!My assessment of this bowl is if you have a bowl dragged/mover… this bowl will help!! Or if you need a weighted bowl for another reason, this bowl will do the trick!!

I was looking for a non-skid heavy bowl. This was advertised as such and it is neither!
I needed a bowl that didn't scoot all over the floor while my dog ate. This bowl is light, cute and very very small for very small dog. Not what it looks like in the picture and certainly skids all over the floor because it's lightweight and has nothing to stop it from skidding.

Medium is kinda small for anything under about a cup.
I had previously purchased to white bowl in this photo not knowing the size (s,m,l, etc.) The blue bowl in this photo is what I ordered off Amazon as a size M. It will work, as my dogs both get 1 Cup (2X) per day. Both are GSD mixes and weigh between 65-80 lbs. The ramen is just for scale, cuz everyone knows what ramen is right? So the medium (blue dish) is small enough that the ramen rests on the top edges of the dish. The white one is large enough that the ramen will sit flat on the bottom.I bought this brand because the white dish that I bought first was great. I have had many of the stainless steel dishes with the cheap rubber ring about the bottom that stretched and wears and eventually falls off. We have all hardwood and tile floors, and a dog who is a really "pusher" at meal time. Without a rubber base she will slide her dish all over the place while trying to eat, and ends up doing more dish chasing than eating. These dishes are super rugged plastic, and the entire base has a "double" rubber ring at the base which I feel offeres more traction than a simple stainless steel dish with a cheap rubber gasket over the bottom lip. I am happy with this purchase and expect these dishes will last a long time before needing to be replaced. Just be sure to get a large enough size for what your pet needs.

Not heavy at all, still slides on floor.
These are supposed to be heavyweight and skid proof they definitely are not, they are medium weight plastic and my dog can still scoot it across the floor, The only reason why I'm not returning them is that I can use them when we go camping, Don't waste your money.

Happy with Purchase
I originally bought the large bowl for dog food but found it to be a bit too big. Our dog only gets one can of wet food and the large was a bit much, so I turned that into his water bowl to replace a ceramic bowl. Then we bought the smaller bowl and the smallest bowl, one for our dog and another for our daughter's dog who is a little thing. I think they are very easy to clean; they don't get that slimy feel after he licks the bowl clean like the ceramic bowls tend to get. I do have to agree that the sticker removal is no easy task thus less one star from perfect. The sticker really should go on the bottom. Since I read the review regarding the difficult sticker removal, I made sure I removed it very slowly and was able to get it all at once.

Using for stray cats. Bowls stay put. LOVE them.
I got two a few of these bowls to feed a few stray cats that live by my home. I was using disposable plastic plates but they moved those around too easily making a mess. I got these and they did the trick. No more overturned bowls. The one I got was blue with a black base (I don't recall if I got to pick the color but I don't think I did). They have been outside for a few months now and still look brand new.I see a bunch of comments saying the sticker is hard to remove. Yes, the sticker in the bowl is VERY sticky but I got it off pretty easily. The trick is to just remove it SUPER slow. You don't need to soak it in water or anything else like that. Just pick at it a little until it lifts enough to grab with your fingers and the pull VERY slowly. Should it be this hard? Maybe not, but if you are slow, steady and patient it comes off clean and all in one piece.

Should have read the reviews
I was in a hurry and got suckered. Black plastic - not metal as pictured. (and it does say colors vary and made of plastic if you take time to read the details). NOT heavy - at all. We go this because our small cat plays in the water bowl and tips them over. This one doesn't tip over, but the (slightly bigger than a kitten) cat pushes it around and sloshes water. I almost sent straight back on opening, but thought the wide base and grips would solve the problem. The grips do nothing. Slides all over high end ceramic tile -- would not buy again. wish I had kept tags so I could return.

Waste of money
I wanted a bowl for water my cats couldn’t push around so they wouldn’t make a mess. I purchased this thinking it was metal and heavyweight (as the photo and description would lead you to believe). This was plastic and while it does have a rubber base, it 100% moves with a slight touch. So much for heavyweight. I moved it easily with one finger and my cats will certainly be able to push it around the room and splash water everywhere. Highly disappointed with the quality and feel this is a misleading product description. I should have read the reviews first but was in a rush and fell for it. Waste of money.

Not weighted. Cheap plastic
Bowl that came was black plastic, not stainless as it looks in picture and not weighted at all. I do not recommend

Photo is misleading
I should have read the specifications which was my fault, but the main photo makes it look like these bowls are stainless steel and they are plastic.
