Great hat for keeping a bald head warm! My son really likes it!

Too thin. Not worth it.

I was looking for a very warm hat to wear when hiking or fly fishing in cold weather. These are well made and extremely warm. After returning from the river I hastily took off the hat and left it on a bench in my unheated garage. My wife and I were headed for a walk a week later and when grabbed the hat off the bench two mice scurried out leaving behind wood shavings and a bit of fuzz. As they ran down the bench one stopped - slowly turned around - and with his small mouse hand gestured towards the hat and said ‘hey….that thing is warm.’

Money well spent! This thing is very soft and comfortable. I'm using it as I ride my ATV in very cold and windy conditions, and it stays on and keeps my head warm. Love it!

The neck warmer is thick and warm, much warmer than I'm used to. The hat is thinner than expected, I can feel the cold air through it. I thought it would be a knit cap with a fleece liner, it is, however it's thin fleece and a thin knit material over it which lets wind through. So about the same thickness as a standard single layer cotton knit cap.

Works as intended, warm and fits great. Nice color.
