Putty Buddies Original Swimming Earplugs (3 Pair)

My daughter loves these. They are so much better than traditional ear plugs. She suffers from ear infections but loves swimming. These work so well to prevent water from getting in her ears, are comfortable and fit well. The only tricky thing is removing the putty without it attaching to her hair but found if you push gently from behind the ear they pop out more easily. Great little pot for taking them to and from swimming. Multiple use too so good value. Will definitely use these again.

Very effective and comfortable although they do get stuck in the hair and can be painful to remove from the hair. The little pot to store them in was helpful.

These come in a pack of 6 circles that are easy to mould to the shape of your ear. I used these everyday on holiday when going in the pool as I always get water lodged in my ear causing hearing loss for days. They are clear so you can’t see them once they’re in and they are a soft wax like material. I worried they would go soft or melt in the heat but they never and were very easy to apply and remove. They kept the same consistency and never went sticky. I particularly liked the storage case provided in the pack so when I got out the pool and could remove them but keep them somewhere clean so I could reuse them. And they worked great even swimming under water they didn’t let any water in.

I bought these following my 3 year old getting grommets. He loves the colours that come in the packet and even likes to mix and match the colours. They are generally quite easy to fit into the ear and simple to remove by pushing from the outer ear. My son has not moaned they are uncomfortable and is quite happy to have them put in. They come with a little pot that you can put them in after use which is really convenient. The only negative i have is , i forgot to put them in once and because my sons ear was slightly wet they would then not stay in his ear. !

Too many near misses with recent batches for us to keep using them. My daughter is a squad swimmer so swims several times a week. We have been using these for a while and they are much better than the 'rigid' soft silicone plugs from Speedo and the like. However, with multiple near misses of it getting wedged in her ear canal in recent weeks we have lost trust in them. Pros are comfortable and good fit, range of colours so she can have natural ones that don't stand out Cons get stuck in hair and recently get stuck in ear canal Good price but I am just worried now we have had a few near misses. We are now looking at custom mould longer term ones. Bigger initial outlay but you can't take the risk when it's your child's hearing can you?

My daughters won’t swim without these. They are easy to use however do seem to fall out frequently. Due to putty they do pick up fluff etc. whilst fitted they work well, keeping water out but still allowing for necessary hearing. Bought this second pack to replace the first lot which got fluffy and lost.

Tried several putty-style earplugs before this one after our kid kept getting ear infections from swim lessons, wanted something that actually sealed properly instead of the moldable putty that never quite held shape long enough. Sealing is where these beat everything else we tried, molds easily to the shape of the ear canal and actually stays sealed through a full swim session rather than loosening halfway through. Fit works well for kids specifically, small enough to shape into little ears without needing to stretch or force too much putty in. Suitable for swimming is the whole point and they deliver, no water getting through even with your head fully submerged doing laps or diving for toys at the bottom of the pool. Comfort has been good too, no complaints of pressure or irritation after wearing them a full hour or more in the water. Stickiness is manageable, tacky enough to hold its shape and stay put but doesn't leave residue stuck in the ear or hair afterward. Appearance is simple, comes in a couple color options so it's easy to tell whose pair is whose between siblings. After trying several other brands that didn't seal reliably, these are the first ones that actually worked as advertised for swimming.

These mold exactly to the child's ear and keeps water out during swimming. They cause no discomfort either and stay in the ear the whole time. Easy to remove and refashion if required. Comes with a handy case to keep dry when not in use.
