This product has greatly improved my husband’s ability to bathe privately and independently. He is a large man (6ft/215 lbs). He had L4/L5 back repair/fusion. This device easily handles his weight (up and down). It stops at his desired level for showering and brings him back up to exit the shower. We have a standard tub, and there is no problem fitting this in the standard tub. The recline on the seat has him a little forward in the tub but from there he can easily reach the shower water controls. He is using a hand head shower wand. The additional height of the chair allows him to stand aided with ‘other bars’ we installed as a push point. We love this device. I also use it to lower him to the floor or get him from the floor as needed.

I bought this for my mom as she was having trouble getting in and out of the tub. She was basically having to sit in the shower (horrible, who wants to bathe like that?!?). Now she uses it on the regular and is able to bathe and soak any time she wants. We removed the flaps in the side because they were getting caught under the seat, but they have had no change on the function. The turntable on the seat is great because it allows her to turn and get out of the tub with out any skin getting caught or pinched in the seat. My only gripe is that the hook that is included doesn’t stay attached to the wall very well so we’ve had to find other ways to hold the remote. Other than that it has been excellent and my mother has even recommended it to her friends. This helped get my mother back up and moving around again. I’m so grateful for this chair!

This didn’t fit in my elderly parents’ garden tub very easily. The height is great but the tub isn’t long enough for their legs to fit for a comfortable bath. Doable for a quick dip. The suction cups don’t attach very well but, again, the tub size is a factor. I HAVE found this very useful in getting my Mom up off the floor after a fall! I can’t lift her and she can’t assist in getting herself up. The lift worked great just lowering it to the floor, scooting Mom onto the seat and then engaging the lift. We’ve used it about 8 times in the last 18 months. Unfortunately her last fall, last week, was a failure. The plastic piece, a hook holding the lift mechanism to the base, broke off. And no, we didn’t exceed the weight limit. I reached out to the manufacturer to see if I can get a replacement base or something but no response yet.

Hello, my Mother is 85 yrs old and broke her back in Jan 2026. I bought her this bath chair because of the swivel bottom so she no longer needed to step over the tub. Tonight while she was in the bath the back separated from the bottom pushing her forward in the chair and not allowing her to raise up in the bathtub. A piece broke off the back of the chair that holds the bar. My Mom is only 163lbs, and this is rated for a 300lb person. I dead lifted her from the chair to a standing position and then while she attempted to step over the side of the tub she fell!!!!! Fortunately I was there to help her, but if your loved one is alone when this happens it would be bad. I need to give you a serious consumer warning about this product!!!!! We did nothing to cause this to happen, it was normal operation just lowering into the bath and this happened when attempting to rise up again. We have had this chair for only 3 months. UPDATE: The seller has refunded the full amount of this purchase! Good seller, bad product.

I had both shoulder & knee surgery in the past few months & so missed being able to do a bubble bath for both relaxation & pain relief. Now I can safely soak in the tub again! The suction cups work well to hold it in place, the battery lasts through several baths & I have found it safe to use even when I am home alone. Have had it for about a month & it has not disappointed me! To make it a bit lower in the tub, I removed the blue padding on both the seat & the back rest. All I need is a head rest pillow to be able to soak & read in the tub for as long as I want. I would definitely recommend it & would buy another one if this one failed!

My mom likes to take baths vs. a shower and this was a game changer for her. A lot of the care givers that come to assist her had never seen this before. This is a a quality product that helps with taking a bath vs. installing a new tub with a door.

This is a wonderful lift! We live in an Victorian farmhouse with an antique claw foot tub. None of the other bath lifts would raise high enough to reach the top edges. This lift goes another inch higher than we needed making it even easier for my husband to get in and out. The instructions are terrible so you need to play with it after assembly to understand how the back lies down. Assembly directions aren't very clear but thank heavens it is easy enough to figure out how it goes together. Light enough to lift in and out of the tub. Very pleased with this product.

Once the chair is down in the water, it doesn’t leave enough space for you to extend your legs out. Basically your legs aren’t able to go down and soak.
