I was struggling with my Mantis tiller (honda gx25) —it would start, but the tines wouldn't spin, and it would stall out under any load. After trying everything else, I decided to change the carburettor for this one and it fits perfectly. It is an identical match to the one that came with the Mantis when it was new. There was one minor difference as this carburettor lacked the throttle stop screw. This was a very easy fix as I just swapped it over from my old carburettor. The only part I found difficult was changing the seal and the fuel lines, but I managed to get the seal in place by using a screwdriver to help slip it in. Then the Mantis started on the second pull! As soon as I hit the throttle, it started spinning straight away. It actually runs better now than it ever did when it was brand new.

fitted to an old GX25 Strimmer that was lacking power at high revs and was temperamental to start. I'd replaced the fuel filter and plug numerous times which seemed to fix the issue briefly but decided to it might be best to replace the carb' itself. It's a simple job and ten minutes later with the choke on it fired 2nd pull requiring just a small adjustment to tick over. Once warm it revs to full throttle with no hesitation and runs as should...tick over is perfect now as opposed to frustrating. I didn't bother with the supplied new fuel lines or plug as these had been replaced recently so they've been set aside as spares. This old strimmer is now running as strong as it did when I bought it second hand 10 or so years ago and starts first or second pull...very pleased.

Sceptical about this as it was so cheap. However, fitted a few months ago and works perfectly. Made my rotovator run like new again. Lots of use since fitting and still going strong.

Engine runs like new/cheaper than buying carb cleaner and kit.

After attempting to clean my carb from 2002 device - and it failing miserably, I bought this kit. Installing it was a charm - although the tank rubber wasnt the right size, so I used the old one. But once primed it started instantly, and held steady revs etc. I had to tweak the idle down quite a bit, but there are no jet settings needed etc. Now my strimmer is like new again !

Can’t believe how successful this product was for the money. Fitted my FG110 Mini-Tiller like a dream. Very minimal trimming of gasket. I was quoted £200 at a repair shop! Very pleased with the result.
