Yay! t's not made in China! It's made in Brazil!
It's genuine stainless steel made in Brazil! Excellent price! Outstanding stainless steel quality! It's very versatile for using as a steamer inside a large pan. Using for fruit salads, raw and cooked veg and desserts, etc.

Round
Good quality. What drew me to this mixing bowl is it's "round" unlike others that are wide that take too much space in my cabinet. Really like it !!

High Quality
It’s difficult to get affordable human grade stainless steel water bowls for pets and these were just what we were looking for! The size didn’t exactly fit our existing water stand, so we simply placed them on top of the original low grade stainless steel bowls that came with the stand. These had quickly rusted and were probably releasing toxic chemicals into our pets drinking water.

Gorgeous mixing bowls!
These bowls are beautiful and deep and substantial and NOT made in China. I love them! Order them, you won't be disappointed. If you are one of the few who receive shallow bowls, return them and try again. Pay attention to whom you're buying them from and don't buy from a vendor that has shipped the wrong bowls to others. The only thing that remains to be seen about the bowls is whether they will rust. They shouldn't, but time will tell. Mine are in the dishwasher as I write this review--nothing gets babied in my household. If it can't go in the dishwasher, it goes to Goodwill. I'll write an update with the rust verdict in a few months.

Quality Stainless
I bought all 4 bowls -- the 3-bowl set, and the smallest bowl separately. There is no give to these bowls, they are nice and solid. They are high quality, 80/10 NSF, top of the line, stainless steel -- i.e. no metallic smell like you get off lower priced stainless. The edges are not sharp enough to cut, as some have said. They are rounded edges as you would get on a drinking glass, just a thinner edge, the same thickness as the rest of the bowl. I'd be hard pressed to figure out a way to cut myself on a bowl. My bowls have no burrs and all smooth edges. It may be the way the bowl is held and used, could be uncomfortable for some people. If lifting a full bowl by one hand, the edges do dig in a bit, but they are nowhere near sharp enough to cut someone. (For myself, I use two hands to empty as much out as possible, before switching to one hand to get the last bits.)

This stainless steel is the real deal.
Finally a mixing bowl that's not a tin coated Chinese knock off. This bowl is sturdy stainless steel, deep enough that you won't be splashing water over the rim every time you carry it, and true to size. I love it!

Unauthorized reseller - sent the wrong items
I expected the 18/10 set as pictured and received three made in China bowls with silicone bottoms and no mention of the steel type, meaning they most likely aren't good steel.I contacted Tramontina directly to ask for the bowls I ordered (as Amazon doesn't have a way to request the correct item instead of just a refund) and was informed that this is an unauthorized reseller. They cannot fix the problem and the best I can do via Amazon is get a refund. I may choose that option, but what I really want is the heavy duty plain steel bowls I ordered.

The sturdiest ever!
Absolutely love this mixing bowl MADE IN BRAZIL! Not China! No way will this bowl dent nor warp! Has clean smooth rim for holding. Perfect stainless steel mixing bowl!

Not stainless steel. Made in China
These bowls are nothing like the listing. They are made in China. They are not stainless steel. And they have a silicon bottom. When I spend $72.00 I expect the product to be as listed. It is not.
